Overall Satisfaction with Insightly

We use it to track contacts we have. It is primarily used to track our current clients, former clients and business contacts.
  • It allows you to sort with filters.
  • You can assign your contacts ID tags which you can sort into groups.
  • You can see everyone's activity on the home page which makes it easier to see what everyone else has done so don't duplicate efforts.
  • You can add notes, tasks and whether something is a project or opportunity.
  • It appears there is the ability to run reports, however, whenever I try to run a report it says there is not enough data. This is annoying.
  • The report features should be better and allow the user to create more reports.
  • When we want to sort by Current Clients, there should be a filter by date added. So we can see when they became clients.
  • When we sort by Past Clients, we should be able to sort by date they cancelled service. So we know when they dropped off.
  • Font is a bit small for contact info.
  • I think overall the program has helped the company's return on investment. We can now track deferred clients and recontact them to see if they are interested.
  • It has helped us to keep better track of leads and better notes on where we are at with the status of them.
  • Improved employee efficiency, especially since Brock's Academy is growing and now we have more clients and more leads.
  • Customer service is better because now we have a history and notes about each client contact.
We use both programs. Insightly does a better job of tracking contacts. But, Constant Contact does a better job for sending out mass emails that have a particular look and feel. If Insightly allowed us to create a customized look for emails and send them to a lot of people at once we would probably just use Insightly.
We will most likely renew as we have put so much work into building our database.
