Overall Satisfaction with Insightly

Insightly is mostly used by those in the Sales Department, but also by a few of the Admin support staff. I personally use it to keep track of which of our clients to call and when. Keep detailed notes as to what was last discussed, and set tasks pertaining to each client's specific needs. This is great as it organises my life so I never have to worry about forgetting which client needs what on a specific day. Thus I am always on top of my to-do list.
  • The calendar! I love the calendar system for setting tasks. I then know when I am in for a rough week or when I can afford to put in leave. (sometimes a year in advance!)
  • The fact that I can send emails straight from Insightly is starting to grow on me. I must admit at first I found it clunky, but now it feels more natural. And of course then my mails are all there in the opportunity notes.
  • Being able to track my progress by seeing the tasks done on a client means I have tangible evidence of where I am in the sales pipeline with that client.
  • I would prefer however that if I link an Opportunity to a Contact page, that these details display on all three of the tabs. Then I don't have to use all three tabs when opening an Opportunity for Tasks and Notes.
  • I noticed this has improved over the last two years, but it can still be a problem - and that's load time. I live and work in South Africa and our ADSL speeds are not always the best. This means that on a particularly slow day, I can only get through 15 - 20 clients in an hour. I would like if it was possible to have a lighter framework to use so that I don't have massive load times between tasks. Thats pretty much my only gripe.
  • Definitely increased my efficiency as I am able to keep on top of my leads and clients better
  • My clients are always impressed that I can remember the details of the last call and actually followed up when I said I would. Thank you Notes and Calendar!
Insightly seems perfectly suited to my area in the company which is sales. I am not sure how well it works with the admin department. I believe they have different requirements.
