Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use InVision as a virtual pin-up space to review design progress, aggregate project information, facilitate focus groups, and collaborate and share our work with our collaborators. We share work, images, and markups in our freehand spaces.

Pros and Cons

provides space to aggregate project work
facilitate live collaboration -- through annotation
limitless area to aggregate materials

understanding of scale -- when drawing, annotating, and uploading -- sometimes scales don't facilitate good markups because scale creates too faint lines
ability to rotate and crop files/images that are added to a board
ability to auto link a comment to a board asset

It is a great tool to collaborate and share thoughts when working across virtual and physical office environments. It replaces our studio walls for pin-up and dynamic critique and collaboration. It is limited in its ability to dynamically sketch in the platform to communicate ideas, most collaboration is accomplished through notes
