Overall Satisfaction with KnowBe4 PhishER
We implement it on 365, and encourage our users to report any suspicious emails. This encourages awareness, and prevents users from getting caught by a malicious email. The functionality of then removing other similar emails once the threat has been identified is fantastic, and being able to phish rip the email to reintroduce it as a test really ups the game for learning and being prepared for other malicious emails.

- The quarantine function is lacking. Further integration with the existing 365 quarantine could really make a difference.
- The UI is a little bit feature heavy and clunky. There is a lack of clarity on how to properly set up certain things including remedial training on a failed simulation.
- Since we started using KnowBe4 and PhishER we have had 1 compromising incident, whereas the year before we started to use them we had 7. Unfortunately the product does nothing to help if we are compromised, but that is not the purpose. It is meant to be preventative and educational.
We have only had 1 security incident since starting with KnowBe4 and PhishER, compared to 7 in the year before we got it. Giving our employees a tool to empower them in an uncertain situation has proven invaluable. The time I save not resetting passwords and searching for embedded threats has been relieving.
I have attempted to implement the Blocklist, I was not impressed, and have stopped using it. PhishRip and PhishFlip have been invaluable, and I have used them to run simulations on my users. I allow PhishML to run in the background, but so far have not found it reliable enough to allow my users to see the results. My opinion is that best practice is to manually monitor emails, and provide feedback that way.
The purpose of the KnowBe4 software is simple. It educates users, and prevents bad actors from using social engineering, the most effective method of penetration, to infiltrate our company. We have seen a steep drop in security incidents since using the software. It's invaluable.
KnowBe4 seemed to have a more complete library of tools and simpler interface.
