Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF

Practically everything our law firm does requires online filing of legal documents via e-file. Kofax Power PDF makes this process straightforward and easy for us. We use Kofax Power PDF every single day to manage scans, convert Word docs to PDF, convert images to PDF for inclusion in filings, and to redact filings.
  • Rearranging/deleting/inserting pages in PDFs
  • Converting multiple files into one PDF
  • Annotating other PDFs or images
  • Redacting documents
  • Text box management
  • More encryption options
  • Better options for compressing filesizes on large PDFs
  • Immense time savings
  • Cost savings, because time is money
I find it extremely easy and intuitive. However, I would note that some of our employees over a certain age often will require help on one feature or another, especially when it comes to Document Assembly.

Would you buy Tungsten Power PDF again?

Yes

Absolutely it has been Document Assembly. The ease of rearranging/editing individual pages, as well as to view them at different zoom levels, has made Kofax Power PDF a completely indispensable part of our business.
We routinely prepare lawsuit filings that will consist of a lead document, written in Word, and followed by exhibits, often many, many pages of exhibits. Kofax Power PDF makes it easy for us to go from drafting in Word, to converting the Word doc to PDF, to then dragging and dropping other PDFs, Word docs, or images directly into the target PDF and rearranging those pages. I think it is less suited, overall, to long-form annotation, due to the limited scope of text-editing fields.
