Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart
Lucidchart is used to creating visual, collaborative artifacts. In my remit, they can be used to organize visual tools to help drive projects and planning additionally to create artifacts that can be reviewed and drive team discussions. It is used by the organization but not each and every employee has a need to utilize it. Most departments have some users but it is not our sole tool for this purpose.
- Drives collaboration.
- Offers good role specific content.
- Formalizes brain-storming.
- Improved export options
- More expansive free version
- Easier method to print
- Improved content creation
- Improved content retention
- Improved cross-org collaboration
This has not been something that has been relevant to my usage of Lucidchart as I tend to use it only within the site directly. There have been occurrences where Lucidchart has been shared via Slack, which does allow for a streamlined and simple process for users to access the relevant content but otherwise, this feature is not something I can particularly speak to.
Do you think Lucidchart delivers good value for the price?
Not sure
Are you happy with Lucidchart's feature set?
Yes
Did Lucidchart live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of Lucidchart go as expected?
Yes
Would you buy Lucidchart again?
Yes
Lucidchart is more professional and collaborative than Miro. There is also a much wider and higher-quality selection of pre-existing templates. It is also more "personalized" to roles and departments. The training content is a lot stronger. However, within the free versions, both Lucidchart and Miro are somewhat on par.
