Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

I don't deem myself as the most technically literate person, however, I found the whole process from signing up with Lucidchart, creating new content, collaborating and iterating with existing content, and sharing content extremely user-friendly and intuitive. The flow is sensible and informative and helps drive wider usage.
Lucidchart is used to creating visual, collaborative artifacts. In my remit, they can be used to organize visual tools to help drive projects and planning additionally to create artifacts that can be reviewed and drive team discussions. It is used by the organization but not each and every employee has a need to utilize it. Most departments have some users but it is not our sole tool for this purpose.
  • Drives collaboration.
  • Offers good role specific content.
  • Formalizes brain-storming.
  • Improved export options
  • More expansive free version
  • Easier method to print
  • Improved content creation
  • Improved content retention
  • Improved cross-org collaboration
This has not been something that has been relevant to my usage of Lucidchart as I tend to use it only within the site directly. There have been occurrences where Lucidchart has been shared via Slack, which does allow for a streamlined and simple process for users to access the relevant content but otherwise, this feature is not something I can particularly speak to.
I have not had much need to go out for support but I do believe that the content within the site within the training hub is very informative and supports a self-service approach. Again, Lucidchart is very intuitive therefore, the few gaps which may arise can usually be found within the training hub content.

Yes

Lucidchart is more professional and collaborative than Miro. There is also a much wider and higher-quality selection of pre-existing templates. It is also more "personalized" to roles and departments. The training content is a lot stronger. However, within the free versions, both Lucidchart and Miro are somewhat on par.
Lucidchart has been a key tool in keeping collaboration at the forefront of our working practices, despite the pandemic and working from home. It has helped formalize brainstorming, in a real-time format that users throughout the company can access and iterate. It acts as a brain dump on a page that has been invaluable during a time where teams have been split and individuals are working in Silo. Lucidchart is the ultimate live-collaboration tool in a time where collaboration and engagement are under real challenge. Creating a virtual format for brainstorming means that no post-meeting whiteboard will simply be erased.
