Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

I have never been trained on Lucidchart and am able to use this software that describes the level of ease of use of this software. The UI is intuitive and helps the user to start and then build on the flows required. The help/FAQ section helps whenever stuck making it seamless to work with. If info is unavailable in the help section, I usually find out the info from the support forum.
For my daily functions, I need to create diagrams for the programs or logic I design for our business solutions and implementations. I understand Lucidchart can be used across various domains and verticals but being an architect, I have a limited scope for using Lucidchart for creating Programmatic charts and I could tell how well it caters to my daily requirements. It is been used by a smaller group of people across the organization, mainly by those who are into designing.

  • All shapes are available for use in flowcharts
  • Numerous options on connections between shapes
  • Export to various extensions
  • Integration with Google Drive
  • Lot many configurations which I might not be aware of
  • Support could be limited sometimes.
  • Improved productivity
  • Better flowcharts which describes the functionality in much detail to customer.
  • Auto correct and auto alignment is helpful and reduces time effort.
Yeah, as I mentioned earlier, the ability of this software as a service to integrate with Google Drive helps in working on my workflows, flowchart documents pretty seamlessly. I need not worry about the physical location of the document since it is saved directly into my Google Drive location and can be used on any device I am working on. Since it's a positive for me, I can surely vouch for all my colleagues here.
Even though I felt sometimes, support was not to the best of its capabilities, still, it has been doing pretty well overall when compared to other software I have subscribed to. There hasn't been any instance where I got stuck with anything or I was unable to get the correct answer for a query. The timing might not have been the best, but nevertheless, it got resolved.

Yes

Lucidchart is well suited when someone needs to create flow charts or to define business processes or write algorithms. Since my work is limited to these practices I can suggest these but as per my limited knowledge this software can do a lot more than I require and I appreciate it for that. This software is not suitable if you want to create any type of document other than charts.
