Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

The interface is smooth but it takes up a lot of my machine's resources. I have a MacBook Pro with beefy graphics processing and I still run into performance issues on the Lucidchart interface.
We use Lucidchart to communicate processes across the organization. The platform is super effective for visualizing systems and finding ways to improve our product and delivery. I love how easy it is to use and provides an interface that lets you control versions the same way that Google Drive does. It's a step above other process mapping tools.

  • Creating quick process mockups
  • Matching UI design to other collaboration tools
  • Providing an integration library
  • Lucidchart helps us improve adoption of processes.
These integrations seem like they would help us out a lot but in my time using Lucidchart, I haven't found an easy way to make them work.
I have not really had to approach Lucidchart's support team for any issues. So, for this, I would take that as a testament to the maturity of their product and overall self-serviceability.

Yes

Lucidchart works really well as a cloud platform for drawing out processes and documenting them. Versus its competitors, Lucidchart offers a lot of flexibility and ease of use in creating quality diagrams and process flows.
Lucidchart is well suited for when a new process needs to be implemented. It helps our teams communicate the flow of information and align on how to improve the delivery of our product. It is not well suited for heavy documentation. Basically, it is made for collaboration on visual diagrams.
