Overall Satisfaction with Lucidspark
I use it for building conceptual research models. The sticky notes allow me to attach questions and explanations to relationships between variables. The ability to quickly add variables or change relationships is quite useful for brainstorming models. The export feature is also handy, especially since it allows export of a variety of file times, including png.
- Quicky altering models
- Sticky note allow for elaboration of relationships
- Export to a variety of file formats
- Ability to move text within a line to above/below the line
- The icon for changing line color isn't very obvious
- Adding squared lines (as opposed to just curved or straight lines).
- Time savings for brainstorming is a clear win for productivity and effectiveness
- Having to redraw the diagram in Visio hurts productivity
Integration with Google Drive is nice, as is the integration with Lucidchart. I haven't used it with Slack. I'm a bit puzzled about why Lucidspark is different from Lucidchart. It seems like they should be one application.
I haven't used it to collaborate yet. So, I am unable to provide feedback on this element of Lucidspark. That being said, I suspect that the collaboration would be quite useful. It's a step up from texting pictures of my physical whiteboard.
Do you think Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite delivers good value for the price?
Not sure
Are you happy with Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite's feature set?
Yes
Did Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite live up to sales and marketing promises?
Yes
Did implementation of Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite go as expected?
I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite again?
Yes
Not as feature rich as Visio, but much easier to use for brainstorming diagrams. Microsoft's whiteboard is pretty useless.
