Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use NAKIVO Backup & Replication for Microsoft Hyper-V backup on several sites. The solution runs on several Synology NAS devices. The solution offers a simple interface that is easy to use for new users. It gives us a quick and simple way of recovering individual files and whole servers.

NAKIVO Backup & Replication is well suited for Microsoft Hyper-V Failover Cluster and for doing backup of these virtual servers. Installing and maintaining the solution on a Synology NAS is quick, simple and works well. NAKIVO Backup & Replication does currently not support a clustered SQL High Available setup which is less appropriate.
