I would not recommend.
Overall Satisfaction with Nintex Process Platform
We intended Nintex to address problems across the board, however, Sharepoint On-Premise product has been neglected since Nintex was acquired and began getting into other products such as 365 and RPA, as well as there’s much more [customization] necessary than advertised. I would not recommend the product if asked.
Pros
- I honestly cannot think of three things it does well without custom code.
Cons
- Forms need to be more intuitive, too much JavaScript is necessary.
- Still cannot use SQL and web service calls in the mobile app.
- Document generation should be free. Not much value when everything is nickel and dimed.
- I haven’t had much ROI at all for a host of reasons.
I’ve had a simple issue that’s had a ticket open since April preventing me from moving forward with any upgrades. I just want basic consistency with the quality of the product and I’ve yet to experience this as a customer for 4 years.
They only use the forms as end users. The claim that “power users” can do their own workflows and forms is a farce.
If my issue isn’t resolved within 30 days I’ll begin looking into different workflow platforms. Nintex is very pricey for not much value.
