Overall Satisfaction with Norton

Norton adds a great value in relation to protecting our computers in the organizations from any sort of attack on our files. It provides a safer environment when browsing the internet and in downloading all files. It also performs a lot of updates almost daily which adds a great value.
  • Updates - regular.
  • Quarantine of files and it shows you what are the files.
  • It gives early warnings about any suspicious websites before opening.
  • Cost could be an issue. They could perform a free trial at the beginning for people to check.
  • It would be good if you can do an online free check of your computer.
  • While the updates are good sometimes your computer is attacked by a virus they did not expect.

  • Norton has saved a lot as we had many attacks before on our servers therefore the investment came back with a good return.
  • Few users used to open websites that are suspicious and this caused few attacks therefore Norton helped us filter what is good and what is bad.

Updates are better in Norton. Support is always greater with Norton. The interfaces are totally different and it is so easy to use Norton. Th cost of renewal is also better in Norton compared to McAfee Data Center Security Suite.

We receive external data a lot from clients that we need to download and they come stored on external flashes or on hard drives therefore Norton helps us a lot in catching all the attacks with no delay otherwise we could have lost all the data we have on our computers.

Using Norton

30 - Different departments such as Operations, Information Technology, people in top management, general staff, people working on all sort of data and in downloading information, researchers, trainers.
5 - They are from a Computer support background and they support staff in training and in updates as well for giving inductions on how to use this application.

I did renew it before because support is great and cost is great. I believe that Norton has a very long experience in what they do and they are doing a great job with all the updates they provide and the work they are doing. Moreover Norton is going in the right direction for sure.
