Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We are using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for all our services. Storage latency is always below 1ms. There are some network limitations that require good planning before it is too late. Using Resource Manager made our life easier [in terms of] creating OCI infrastructure.

After we migrated to cloud we reduced interruptions on our product
As a general cloud provider, they are still expensive

Oracle University Experience

I took lessons and got certified for free in Oracle university. Lessons are very short and cover everything. Nowadays it's not preferable to take long lessons where mostly there is useless information. Oracle did a very good job with the university. They understand well what people are looking for.

Alternatives Considered

Google Cloud Storage, Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) and Azure Virtual Machines

I have used and tried most of the cloud platforms. What makes Oracle different is Autonomous Oracle database support. All the features are the same just different platforms. The important part is to find the cheapest cloud for your region.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is an enterprise cloud for enterprise users. Oracle database management can make huge workloads be done autonomously. The developer tools also automate how the infrastructure works. There are good monitoring and logging tools. There are some parts that the Oracle Cloud team should improve like maintenance. Each month we face issues during maintenance.
