PowerDMS
Overall Satisfaction with PowerDMS
We use PowerDMS to house policies and procedures, manuals, and important documents, as well as to provide training programs. The ability to track where users are located within the organization is a bonus. Seeing when documents were signed for is an invaluable tool for quality assurance.
Pros
- Sign for policies and procedures.
- Administer distance learning programs and tests.
- Library manuals and important resources for easy access.
Cons
- It's a little clunky looking.
- Less paper
- Real-time updates pushed out to officers
- Accountability
We used to use a paper system, and have heard other agencies track distribution via read-receipts on emails. PowerDMS is the only system we tried.
