Overall Satisfaction with Proconnect Tax Online
We use Proconnect to complete business returns. There aren't any problems with the product except sometimes it is a little difficult to use.
- Final taxes are clear.
- The esignature is easy most of the time for clients to sign.
- The dropdown for selecting the right year is clear.
- Clients complain that sometimes they can't get verified.
- If there is a problem sometimes its updating imput.
- There are times when I'm trying to switch from one screen to the next and it doesn't switch.
- Sometimes the errors aren't clear or easy to fix.
- I like that I can see how many returns I do per year and how it is divided up between tax forms. This is helpful for me to know which ones I have for my client base.
- It's good that it imports from the previous year this saves me 25% of the time for starting the return in the following year.
- Over time the software can very expensive in relation to the number of purchases I have made. There isn't a discount for multiple purchases and there has been a rise in costs.
I like Drake because it is cost effective, has many integrated features that Proconnect doesn't have. The client portal in particular and email features make it a better product. I don't use Proconnect for personal because the cost compared with OLT for personal returns doesn't compare. The software is just was detailed which makes it easy. I don't use a customized software for the personal returns. My business handles both business & personal and business returns and Proconnect isn't always cost effective.
