Overall Satisfaction with Projectplace
ProjectPlace helped us to centralise and make available project intelligence. It is a great support to enhance collaboration in team projects. The most used features are definitely the conversations and document management. Kanbans and Gantt charts are a must have in many projects to build, share and discuss the planning and actions.
- Kanban vs. Gantt Chart. Both are different features yet linked together. This lets us use Gantt for a global schedule and Kanban for action. This avoids the use of Gantt charts for small tasks.
- Document management with a revision process.
- Conversations, while it is not original, is a key feature. There are interesting hashtags to filter content and @group features.
- The way Kanbans and Gantt charts interact could be simplified in order to facilitate new user understanding.
- Adding a specialized knowledge base feature would definitely be a plus. (Currently, the document management system does the job).
- The reporting "portfolio" tool could be improved to display KPIs in graphics, make summaries, and make calculations.
- Makes it easier to collaborate for teams.
- Information is made available.
- We keep tracks of decisions.
