Because we were converting from QuickBooks Online and did a full general ledger transfer, the implementation took me longer than we expected. From start to finish it was about 4 months, with the last month being on a dual system. The largest time commitment was setting up the items for Raw Materials and Finished goods with BOMs. But to be clear, I wasn't dedicating 8 hours a day for 4 months. I was running our accounting department during this time and dedicated at least 1-2 hours a day M-F on implementation. We were happy that we took the time needed to have a clean conversion.
The big thing is the inventory management. We were overbuying prior to having Enterprise.
