Overall Satisfaction with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

Currently we are looking to use Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) as the server is to provide kvm to on prem OpenShift clusters
  • It is familiar to those that use fedora
  • The update process is straight forward
  • CentOS stream allows for testing and development of possible new features
  • Open source allows for the community to I eract
  • Reach and integration with ibm
  • Less work through partners
  • Onsite training offerings
  • Negative: another system
  • Positive: accessible
  • Positive: extenseble
The support system of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) is better than canonical, at least on the server side. The user side I do prefer Ubuntu as it is where I cut my teeth with linux
