Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It was used by business analysts. The main problem was performance. Users were uploading huge chunks of data and were trying to build advanced analytics on top of it. Lumira was not able to handle it all. We got Tableau in place and it is doing quite well.

Pros and Cons

Connection to BO universe is one big plus point

Full of bugs. Should be compatible to work with Cassandra.

It was for a high data volume POC

Biggest competitor is Tableau. Tableau is sort of becoming answer to any traditional BI tool. It is very difficult to promote or justify a tool which is so full of bugs and less powerful than its competitors.
