Overall Satisfaction with SAP HANA

SAP HANA is used as core ERP solution. It was implemented as green field deployment covering Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales, Operations, Finance and Planning. Main challenge for that project was improvement in handling and planning of components, control of availability of components and management of production process with focus on proper reporting of steps. Another challenge was visibility of forecast and proper distribution of FG in DC network as per market segments demands.

Hana is certainly a newer product in terms of technology and UX is one of the key factors to take advantage of. However, Oracle offers more functions as this solution is longer on market.
There are many SAP resources - not many things HANA way!

SAP HANA suits best for a typical manufacturing environment where integration of Manufacturing sites must follow individual demands of customer. In MTS scenarios - HANA will be as good as complete IBP implementation will provide support for deployment strategies ... basic MRP tools seem to be a little outdated. SAP is not managing well hourly schedules - so managing hourly demand traceability requires some extra enhancement and steps.
