Overall Satisfaction with SharpSpring

We use SharpSping to run email campaigns, design landing pages and set up automated workflows. Only the marketing department is using it at the moment, although we do send our information to Salesforce, which is the sales department's domain. This helps them have more information on potential customer activity when making calls. It allows us to target and segment based on important factors, as well as dynamically change the email based on these segments. It is allowing us to build a foundation for our growth as a marketing department and allows for us to complete more campaigns quickly and intelligently.
  • Innovation. The software is always adding new features, and improving upon existing ones. They listen to customer feedback, and even allow for the user to view where the requested features are in the development process.
  • Support: SharpSpring consistently responds quickly and informatively with answers to questions or hiccups I have experienced. They always check back to make sure my issue was resolved before closing the ticket.
  • Landing Pages and Email Design: These parts of the software are above anything else I looked at in this price range. They compete strongly with Hubspot here, making creating landing pages and emails a quick process. Or at least quicker than usual.
  • Workflows: The automation task and workflow creation process takes a bit getting used to. There is no visual element, which means you may want to map your campaign architecture in a different tool.
  • Bugs: Given that there are always features being added, the software can run into glitches or issues. They are typically quick to fix themselves, and they welcome feedback.
  • Efficiency: As a small team, our time is valuable. Being able to accomplish things quickly means I have more valuable time for the other initiatives on which I am working.
  • No Sale Yet: We are building our outreach program, and have been SharpSpring users for less than a year. I am hoping to use SharpSpring as our cornerstone to our larger marketing process, and see a sale generated directly from a good customer experience.
  • Leads: In this quarter, I was able to report qualified leads Marketing had directly produced, which we were unable to do in the past. It is already showing value, and whil the numbers may be small to others, they are a huge leap for us.
I have been shown everything from Pardot to Campaigner. Many of the solutions we looked at were overkill for our department. Pardot and Eloqua are too big. While that level of customization makes my automation obsessed heart sing, I would have been lost too often. I evaluated Hubspot, and found that SharpSpring did everything we really needed without the hefty price tag.
I would recommend this software to smaller marketing teams. I am the only user of this software in this company, and it allows me to turn around campaigns quickly. It also allows for me to track customer journeys from beginning to end, identify where we are losing customers in our funnel as well as integrate with any other software I need. Larger teams may wish to use something a bit more robust, but I don't see much SharpSpring couldn't handle.
