Overall Satisfaction with SharpSpring

We use SharpSpring behind our own website to track visitors and capture leads. The platform is integrated into our website using their tracking code so that visitors can be captured via forms and stored within the SharpSpring CRM. The whole team uses the platform so we have a shared view of prospects inside the CRM, and can see their visits to the website.
  • Shared CRM Database with custom fields. Easy to use, custom fields can be all sorts of data types. Building lists of people in the CRM works well.
  • Embedded customized forms. We have created and embedded lots of forms. Adding custom fields plus GDPR is easy to do.
  • Tracking email sends and website visits. The platform records website visits, form fills and email opens, all into the CRM system.
  • Customer support is good - we get answers quickly from people who know what they are doing.
  • We use Stripo to construct emails as we find it much easier than the built-in email editor.
  • Styling forms need knowledge of CSS. Some basic options can be decided within SharpSpring. We have a developer who does the work to match the form styling with the specific website designs.
  • Organizing assets such as emails, forms, lists, and workflows is a little hit and miss. But, a new feature using Tags is coming which should make it easy to tag related assets so that projects can be kept organized.
  • Captured leads from forms into lists.
  • Tracks website activity back to prospects.
  • Sends emails which we can track for responses.
We chose SharpSpring as they embody the Agency model - we re-sell SS to clients. Other platforms sell direct to clients so the role of an agency to provide assistance to use the platform is secondary. The price of SS is also far more attractive than bigger platforms such as Hubspot - there is a comparison page on the SS website which shows both feature-for-feature and by price how they compare.
The platform is well suited to a firm who is actively generating leads and also wants to use a sales pipeline. The platform has two major modules, Marketing which covers the emails, forms, landing pages, blogs, lists, automation, etc. The Sales module contains opportunities organized into pipelines to assist the tracking and organization of the sales process.
