Overall Satisfaction with Sigma Computing
I use Sigma to share tracking on growth initiatives throughout the company. This largely consists of tracking core KPIs across top line and bottom line metrics. I have found this particularly helpful in the ease of quickly putting a view that will be shared across the entire organization. In addition, I have also found it useful to be able to collaborate with other coworkers to make edits to dashboards across the entire organization.
- Sigma makes it very easy to share dashboards across the company. This is helpful because it allows me to share my output quickly, provide public access, and create templates from common views.
- Sigma makes it easy to reuse work from other dashboards. This is great because it reduces the time to get to the end result, makes it easy to collaborate with others, and creates a common currency among the org.
- Sigma easily plugs into our DBs. This is helpful because it is fast, easy to do simple and complex queries, and loads quickly.
- Hard to transfer work to other files.
- Sigma does not allow you to copy tabs from one workbook to another, this is a challenge because it requires me to remake views I have already made.
- It is hard to add changes to all elements with one action.
- It does not allow me to make all of the dashboard views I would like.
- saved my time to create complex views
- allows repeateable views to be added
- ease of sharing across the org

The main value prop of sigma computing has come from its ability to create quick, ad hoc views that are easy share across the entire organization. Through my use of Sigma as an analyst, I have found it particularly useful to use the dashboard I create to allow all folks to be up to date on developments in the business
Sigma is great at what is meant for: quick ad-hoc analysis. If I need to do anything more in depth, I will always defer to Tableau because it offers a lot more functionality. That said, Sigma is significantly better than Tableau for quick, ad hoc analysis due to its ease of use and ability to share across the organization
