Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds AppOptics

We are using AppOptics as a performance bench marking tool for changes that we are making to our internal web applications.
  • Easy to use.
  • Clean UI.
  • Simple setup.
  • I think that it could use a little bit more work in the event correlation feature.
  • We have been using it to provide metrics about our web applications while we make changes to them. We look at the metrics before and after the changes to see if we have made improvements or not.
AppDynamics was a product that we evaluated along with AppOptics. A lot of our decision came down to price.
We are only using it in a very limited capacity at the moment. I think that there will be a lot of potential for us to move forward and start to use more of the features.
