Sophos SG Firewall Appliances is used in our Institution as a complete package of network security, bandwidth shaping, app based prioritizing traffic,web authentication,load balancing etc.Many of the features for SD Wan optimization and load balancing.g
- Ips engines are efficient and have important updates.
- Vpn for clients are professional and user friendly.
- Advanced authentication mechanism for user authentication.
- Web interface is not data oriented,missed out a good dashboard
- Report generation is less professional
- Surfing quota feature has to be more precise,not working as intended.
- We don't require external web authentication servers after this purchase.
- Diagnostics are proper and do not require a third party tool.
- Web quote helped us to effectively manage payments.
Both are equally good when comparing the features, FortiGate has a better dashboard while Sophos SG Firewall Appliances has good vpn texhniques.Overall price was better for Sophos SG Firewall Appliances,So we considered this for our Remote Branch Location .
