We used Spiff to help our teams understand how they are measured and paid on their variable compensation model within our Customer Success department. Reps can measure their monthly / quarterly / and annual progress to plan and it takes the guess work out of what their compensation might look like.

All of our reps know exactly how everything is calculated and these numbers are a leading indicator of performance. It has increased trust and accountability not only from our IC's within the department but also the finance team that processes the variable incentive payouts.
Not easy to manage, tough to maintain historically, hard to graph and visualize when you are trying to understand fluctuations in attainment / performance. Save yourself the time, the headaches and the VLookUps!!!
