Overall Satisfaction with Stackby
It's a great tool and a good alternative to Airtable but......It has a learning curve. It really takes a lot of time and effort to create a data table by using API from any integration. They should create more onboarding videos or Docs that could help us to better understand how it actually works. If you want to create your own table and add the data manually that's completely ok but if you wish to pull out data then it's quite hard. On the other hand, it has a nice UI/UX very easy to navigate, and has a lot of options for how you can categorize your table. It also offers a lot of properties on how you can create your column such as text, number, phone number, attachment, and so on which is quite nice. Sharing a table and giving permission is very handy as well.
- Sharing and permissions
- Workspaces
- Table views
- Onboarding videos and materials
- More native integrations
- Better mobile app - enhacement
- Saves hours for the team by sharing data
- Project management better way
- They could build up a better mobile app
We have been using Airtable so often but once your team grows it costs a lot of money, to be honest. Stackby could be a great fit for our team but of course, Airtable is a more mature tool. I'm really hoping that Stackby reaches the level of Airtable at some point one day. For now, we have been using more similar tools simultaneously, unfortunately.
