Overall Satisfaction with Stripe
I have used it in two ways. The first way I used it was to use it as my payment processor for an ecommerce site I built for personal use to sell my own product. I also needed a payment processor for a customer who I was building an ecommerce site for. It needed to integrate well with woocommerce, and that is one thing they do extremely well.
- Integrates with Woocommerce
- Communicates with woocommerce for refunds and taxes and other things
- Allows you to see where payments may be getting hung up in the processing.
- I had an issue with a few little things on stripe and felt the customer service was a little short with me didn't really want to find a solution.
- Woocommerce Integration
- Hooked to bank account for automatic deposits
- Good developer tools
- I know how to set other clients up with it and it makes it easy and quick so I have more time to build the site
- The fees aren't too extraordinarily high
I had a customer who was going to use Heartland for payments. Their integration with woocommerce didn't seem as good, it took forever to get an account with a ton of information needed. Though Heartland had cheaper per charge fees they do have a monthly fee also. I have used paypal also and it works very well with woocommerce, but just doesn't seem as business oriented as stripe does.
