Easy to learn but still powerful
Overall Satisfaction with UiPath Enterprise RPA Platform
We started using UiPath as a part of our portfolio for automation. We integrate it with Chatbots too, so Chatbot can identify the user request and run the UiPath robot on the backend. We have a team that develops the solutions end-to-end, and afterword sells it to the end client. The main problem is that RPA, as we know it, is still quite a new thing so it takes time to get used to.
Pros
- You can start for free.
- You have a great community and perfect learning platform called UiPath Academy.
- You don´t need many skills to start, even from a business or technical point of view. All you need to start with is common sense.
Cons
- I would appreciate more advanced courses from the Academy, like how to implement your own code, how to deal with vb.net classes in UiPath etc.
- Give the user a chance to customize the studio more, like layout etc.
- Great ROI - positive.
- Fast and easy to deploy - positive.
- Low starting costs - positive.
- Quite high running costs for individuals or small business - negative.
We selected it for two main reasons. First, you can start for free and don´t need to bother yourself with a license. Second, its extraordinary community and Academy provided by the platform. With a little time investment, you can create an RPA developer from someone who has no IT experience so far.
