Overall Satisfaction with UKG Ready (formerly Kronos Workforce Ready)
We are using UKG Ready (formerly Kronos Workforce Ready) across the entire organization. This is addressing our compliance issues with overtime pay and making sure employees are accurately getting paid for time worked. It is also addressing our HRIS issue to be able to update our current HRIS system to something more technologically advanced. Our outdated system had no more updates available.
- Timekeeping--accurately times employees in and out
- HR--accurately keeps track of employees information
- Payroll--flows from timekeeping over to payroll to pay employees seamlessly
- Consultant knowledge--although consultants are knowledgeable, there is often a disconnect with what the system can do and what the consultants know it can do.
- Hardcoded Fields--if one more person tells me "it's hardcoded," I might lose it. This is unacceptable for a program that is customizable.
- Status Tracking--you can see when hourly employees clock in and out in the roster, but the tracking for salaried employees is not there. I would like to be able to track who is working and who isn't, especially during COVID.
- We have not yet calculated our ROI with UKG Ready (formerly Kronos Workforce Ready) yet, but I hope to see this be very high, seeing as we have never had a formal timekeeping system before.
We selected UKG Ready (formerly Kronos Workforce Ready) over SuccessFactors for the way it would function for our company. Although I still think our current solution will do that, there are some things that we have not been able to utilize even though we were told we purchased the correct modules to perform specific functions for us.
UKG has a lot of great modules, but if you don't purchase the full suite, you might lose functionality even within a module that you thought you'd have.

Evaluating UKG Ready (formerly Kronos Workforce Ready) and Competitors
Yes - SAP. They were no longer providing updates to the HR side of the system we use for our ERP. We needed an updated product.

Usability: We want our employees to enjoy using the product and show them how this is going to make their jobs easier/more enjoyable.
We would need a more detailed report of what functions are in which module. Some functions are only available in some modules, and consultants need to be very good at knowing which is which. When a company is looking to purchase a program for a specific reason, this needs to be the most important thing when discussing the building of the program.
