Straumann uses Vertex for NAM sales tax transactions only. The company uses the tax rates for US and Canada for sales tax transactions. We have been using this software for years and converted from Q Series to O Series in 2021. We used Vertex consultants for the upgrade as resources are very tight internally. Once implemented the software works seamlessly.

Using Vertex

2 - Only the individuals in the tax department use Vertex
1 - Definitely need knowledge about sales and use tax. I feel you need to be very technical and understand coding to setup rules etc.
