Vertex will save you time & money, while giving you the confidence that you're getting tax right!

Once you have the proper setup in place, I have found that Vertex will handle complex tax scenarios accurately. Over time, I have come to confidently trust Vertex to calculate tax correctly regardless of how complex the scenario is that we're dealing with.

As our companies have grown and expanded, Vertex has allowed us to handle taxation in these new areas seamlessly. Over the years we have navigated acquisitions and mergers, adding new locations, and adding new products. With simple setup, we were easily able to add all of these to our Vertex products and ensure that we were getting tax right.

I do agree that Vertex's robust software products definitely streamline tax determination and reduce manual work. We have encountered some complex situations though that do require special setup on our end in order to get things right. It does take some work to get this setup figured out and put into place. The more content Vertex adds for these complex situations, the better the usability will be.

I feel that Vertex's product configurability is just right for this type of product; I would not consider it to be too limited nor too extensive/complex.

Vertex O Series is extremely important for getting the right tax rate when making retail sales in multiple taxing jurisdictions. Having both the Vertex O Series and Vertex Returns products together is a huge asset when it comes to preparing and filing returns in multiple taxing jurisdictions. I appreciate that even if Vertex does not yet have content for all scenarios, you have the ability to customize and build your own rules when needed. The more I learn to do in Vertex, the more useful it is for addressing taxing issues we encounter so I greatly appreciate the guides and training / learning opportunities that Vertex provides.
