As a WatchGuard Network Security Essential, Watchguard MFA and Watchguard Partner certified technician, I implement the various solutions on my own. As part of this collaboration, I always keep in touch with our reseller and WatchGuard technical services, who are always available and efficient for both commercial and technical assistance.
The WatchGuard Network Security cloud platform centralizes all information on the solution's various products, providing a quick overview without being restrictive. In fact, it is still possible to administer and manage the various products directly from the WatchGuard Network Security system manager, independently of the cloud console. The two products complement each other perfectly, making them easy to learn and use.
The management of various products via the WatchGuard Network Security cloud console saves time, both in analyzing logs from different products spread over several sites for simpler, faster debugging, and in upgrading different products. The integration of various products into the cloud console also makes it easier and faster to implement certain solutions, such as Authpoint.
WatchGuard Network Security is simpler to implement than a solution such as Cisco ASA. User-friendly interface, logical configuration. WatchGuard Network Security is less expensive than a Cisco Meraki MX solution, and allows the product to be used, albeit without additional services, after the license expiry date or the product's end-of-life date. In some cases, this means you can troubleshoot and operate in degraded mode with an older product, while waiting for the production product to be replaced under warranty.
