We are using Workato to take processes that are manual and convert them to be automated.
This is being used by IT and services that may touch IT. Some directives some from management as others are requested from different IT groups to look at solving their processes.

- Easy to user interface
- Connections are easy to establish
- Simple recipes can be written by those without coding knowledge
- Some connectors don't have fully set up functionality
- No easy way of getting reporting metrics
- Can't change the start date of a recipe once you run it once
- We have been automating a lot of manual processes as a result of Workato.
- We have cut back the time to fulfill certain requests and remove the possibility of manual error of these tasks.
CA Automic offers everything under the sun and it's a little harder to use for someone that doesn't know coding. With Workato there is a smaller learning curve and their support team has be instrumental in our success.
