Overall Satisfaction with Zuora
We use Zuora as an add in with Salesforce to handle our billing and revenue recognition processes within or organization. It helps us to lower manual and spread sheet work in billing our customers and creating a more automatic revenue recognition process with Quickbooks. It is being used by our sales team and our accounting and finance teams. When a sales representative closes a deal in Salesforce, they select a button in Salesforce that sends the quote to Z billing which then creates the billing invoice and creates the revenue recognition/amortization schedule.
Pros
- Automates the billing process straight out of Salesforce.
- Automates the revenue recognition process to handle deferred revenue.
- Streamlines the Quote to Cash process for our organization.
Cons
- The ability to have a code that ties into Salesforce so that it is easy to tie a payment in Zuora to a particular customer in Salesforce.
- The ability to seamlessly integrate with all known accounting systems like Quickbooks.
- A little better GUI.
Zuora is better positioned to handle complex billing, pricing and revenue recognition scenarios in a more efficient way than other solutions.
