We currently use Cvent Event Management and it works well to use them together or integrate them. I prefer not to use social tables, another Cvent program, because it is often times much more simplified if creating on your own. I think CrowdCompass is a great mix of …
We did not look to other mobile applications when purchasing CrowdCompass as we were also purchasing Cvent registration. We liked that the two products integrated which meant we only needed to upload data once.
We currently use both. Both products are similar in the way we need to use them. The reason for using both is for the two different registration platforms they each are connected with.
I have only used CrowdCompass for apps so I don't have much to say on other companies. We did look at DoubleDutch last year but decided to stay with CrowdCompass. And then they bought DoubleDutch so ultimately it was a good decision. There were some good features in DD that …

We haven't used any other product like CrowdCompass.
DoubleDutch definitely had a more robust social platform. Allowing us to see who liked posts on the activity feed and easier sharing externally. However, CrowdCompass excels in overall look/feel and ability to customize details. The appointment feature has also been critical …
We primarily utilize Crowd Compass due to Cvent integration. We are a robust user of Cvent, which makes Crowd Compass very easy to build out and have all the registration information for attendees.
CrowdCompass is easy to use as it integrates seamlessly with Cvent, which provides a one-stop-shop from site selection to registration, and now to also have the app component onsite. I have found that it is much easier to use than other similar products, and is great that it …

The ability to integrate with CventFlex registration was amazing compared to the lack of that functionality with EventMobi. The product was intuitive for our attendees and looked sleek and professional. It was great to have the polling functionality within the app and have …

Crowdcompass is a pretty solid tool. The integration with Cvent does not require any technical resources, it is literally clicking a few buttons which is a must for us. It has really helped to cut down on the build time by not having to re-create all of the content—really …
Crowdcompass integrates with Cvent, our event management platform. It is fairly easy and automatic. We chose it simply for this reason, but have been very satisfied with it. The other apps just don’t have the user-friendly administration as well the user-friendly attendee …

I have been with my organization for four years, and we have only used CrowdCompass since I have been here.
Easier to use interface that directly links with our Cvent registration system. We switched due to this integration, the gamification improvements, the benefits for on-site check-in and session selections, and ease of design/use for our builder team. We have especially enjoyed …
We have only ever used Crowdcompass because we've been an avid user of Cvent Registration Management. We've never had to look into other products similar to Crowdcompass because it meets all of our needs and integrates smoothly with our Cvent solutions, making it easy to use …
No contest and not apples to apples. However, Cvent is much more expensive. I am aware of other solutions that seem to be making a splash, but I have yet to research them and compare them to Cvent. Cvent truly is the "Cadillac" of event management software. If budget is not an …
Cvent Management is an easier platform to use to communicate with the clients. It also does not require the client to pay any fees to promote or set up their events. I feel like Cvent Management is more interactive when it comes to scheduling, planning and getting the word out …

I like how this integrates with the Cvent Registration setup for each event. It allows you to push most of the content from your website, workshop descriptions, speakers bios, schedule, etc over to the app so that you do not have to build these sections of the app, only make …
We have not used many other event products. We used Attend and iModules before Cvent and those sites were not nearly as robust, comprehensive, or engaging. There is not another event management platform out there that also gives you interactive floorplans. I wish that was more …
The product was not as feature rich as Cvent. We decided to stay with cvent because their product is tested, full of features we like, and constantly upgrading when users make requests.
We had RegOnline before it was acquired by Cvent and it had so many less features. You could really only do registration with it and there was limited opportunity to customize the registration. It was difficult to set up and not user friendly. Once we made the switch our team …
Cvent is quickly buying up a lot of event technology companies from registration to mobile apps. Other platforms will work at a cheaper price, but Cvent is the most versatile and has the most options.
Prior to using Cvent,my company would build out their registration websites and system all from within - we took an internal approach, a solution which was not very efficient. We have never used another system outside of the Cvent family but are aware of other companies and …

The same thing I’ve been saying: Cvent is customizable in a way the others are not. It’s scalable and can bare our brand. I think, more importantly, they’re always innovating and their innovation makes us look modern and top of our game to our attendees. At Cvent, we feel like …

I have not used other event management software in the past, but from reviews and feedback of others, we know that the Cvent platform is best in class. It is worth the investment to have a robust platform that is easy to customize and manage so that attendees have a great …
Eventbrite is pretty similar to Cvent in what it does, but Eventbrite is more of a cookie cutter approach (which isn't necessarily a bad thing) that makes things really easy, but lacks some features.
Eventbrite & Cvent are not design-first. They are heavy lifting and powerful platforms, but they fall so short on the actual aesthetic of the design. This is the most important aspect of organizing an event - creating a beautiful page that encourages visitors to buy a ticket. …
CrowdCompass was the best part of Cvent each time I used it, from the ease of use to the customer service and handholding. I would recommend it for anyone using Cvent Event Management for an in-person event. I know Cvent just rolled out their virtual event hub though, so for virtual and hybrid events that are employing the Cvent family of tools, I would probably say CrowdCompass is unnecessary.
The system is great for registering for your event, including session add-ons, taxes, and more. It can manage different access and visibility to different sessions or prices based on the reg type. For smaller events, it is just too pricey and does not make sense to use.
When we first started using Splash Event Marketing Platform, the platform showed great promise and worked well for our team’s needs. However, over the past year, we’ve encountered issue after issue—many of which are described by support as problems “no one else has ever experienced.” Unfortunately, this has happened frequently, making it difficult to trust the platform for consistent execution.
Provides attendees with their personalized schedules at their fingertips.
Facilitates networking through the ability to set appointments and send messages with other attendees, and inspires competition with The Game and Click challenges.
Gives attendees the ability to view handouts, take notes and download the information to their personal computers when they get back to their offices.
Templates - Splash allowed Hubspot to create page templates for all of our Hubspot User Group Meet Up registration pages. So while we're just one city that hosts meet-ups, utilizing these templates helps ensure that every city's pages look the same and are able to be navigated in the same way.
Check In - Their app is really nice for check-in on the day of the event. I can have any co-worker log into the app on their phone and they're ready to help me manage the event. The app definitely makes our check-in process more simplified.
Managing RSVPs - The ability to cut off registration and start a wait list is critical for our events. We get a handful of cancellations in the week before the event (as I'm sure every other event marketer does) and we can start moving our way down the waitlist to fill our events up!
Last year, the gamification did not allow much customization, which was a shame. I hope that by the time I am ready to build my 2020 app, this function has been expanded
The app to upload/edit push notifications was only available on iPhone so I had to have another team member handle that seems I have an android phone.
Emails - you can't pre-schedule emails, and it's very complicated to target a specific group.
Testing - You have to clear your cache in between testing, or go incognito mode. Makes for a very lengthy testing process. Wish you could just see live updates as you went!
Gameifcation in the App - I have not had the best luck with this section of the app. It doesn't ALWAYS work. They have some improvements to be made on that front.
When designing a landing page for an event, the functionality of the layout page is quite finicky. I would love to see the ability to add features to certain text boxes become more fluid.
The formatting across the layout page is not always consistent, specifically text sizing.
I had an issue with an account, and the support team took an extremely long time (2+ months) to produce a remedy for the issue I was experiencing.
We have been using CrowdCompass for 3 years and it has all of the capabilities and functionality that we need, it's easy to use, and Cvent is always implementing new features and enhancements to keep up with the latest trends and technology.
We are very pleased with the features that Cvent gives us. The ease of use and the immediate support when something does stump us. Cvent provides us with everything that we need to run a successful event. The only reason I did not Rate Cvent as a 10 is the cost
Because easy to interface and easy to manage Splash platform and individual event platform and easy to integrate with third party software such as Adobe Marketo and others softwares. Easy to maintain status and easy to relate with Salesforce campaign through Marketo . Useful in lead capturing and generation and so on we can enable business through splash.
It is very easy to use as everything is very intuitive. Configurating an app does not take too much time at the end, especially as soon as you already have done one as you can dupplicate the entire content. This is very practical when you use the app for annual events. Also few elements are not updatable once the app is published. Of course you can't change the entire design and the security settings which is a good thing anyway, but the entire content can be updated which allows you to publish your app quite early in advance to boost the engagement without having to wait to have everything in your hands (for instance the speakers bios or abstracts). Plus by adding more content regularly it encourage your audience to come back also regularly to check what is going on before the event.
The Cvent Event Management is very user friendly and intuitive. It's easy to use. Initially it's a bit of a learning curve because it is such a robust system with so many features. Whoever is using it really needs to take time and dig into it to learn the platform because if you go through it only on a surface level you can miss a lot of key features that can be beneficial to use.
The platform works, and it is a good system. I think there is always room for improvement. and I would like to see them up their client resolutions when it comes to problems with using the system. and see them take a more aggressive approach to addressing the clients changing needs
It's not very often the platform has switched off or had errors. That only occurs when multiple people are usually in the same events making changes. On our end it usually slows the platform down , not an often occurrence
It works well, integrated into other platforms hasn't cause problems. However saying that it cause other platforms such as iCapture to work slower and slightly glitchy- this has been raised but for now its a put up with it type of issue. This has only recently started happening
Once we paid for our apps, I felt like I was left to learn on my own. There are plenty of Help articles available, but no training sessions. I'm a visual learner and having to poke around and use trial and error to build the apps took way too much valuable time away from other parts of my job. It was frustrating and I brought it up with my CrowdCompass contact, but was told that they don't provide any training sessions and if I had questions I should refer to the Help articles or call support.
The company offers 24/7 customer support, including phone, email, and chat support, to ensure that we can get help when we need it. Additionally, the platform has a comprehensive help center and knowledge base, including user guides, tutorials, and FAQs, which help us troubleshoot issues on our own. Cvent also provides training and support resources, including onboarding assistance, live training sessions, and webinars, which help us get the most out of the platform. Overall, Cvent appears to be committed to providing excellent customer support and resources to its users, which can help ensure a positive user experience and successful events.
We love working with our account manager and priority support to answer questions efficiently and speedily. Our account manager works with us on larger and bigger picture initiatives for our instance, where the priority support is always there when you're stuck with a feature or setup, it's been great to share this resource with our global network of hosts internal and external to the company.
Our on-site trainer was very knowledgeable in the product and gave us very important pointers on best practices and how to perform tasks in the simplest manner
Our training team walked us through the first set up which really helped me to learn where everything is located as well as all of the features available
It would have been nice during implementation if we had received more pointers on how to organize our parked report folders, libraries, etc. to avoid the mess we find ourselves in today. If we had known ahead of time the limitations we could have planned better.
Easier to use interface that directly links with our Cvent registration system. We switched due to this integration, the gamification improvements, the benefits for on-site check-in and session selections, and ease of design/use for our builder team. We have especially enjoyed the New Attendee experience over the look/interface of our previous apps
Cvent was the only events software that could meet our needs at a price that was palatable. We have been with Cvent for over a decade and I shop around every time we come up for contract renewal just to see what's out there. Cvent hands-down is able to handle so much more complex needs than anything else out there. The value for what you get is exceptional.
Despite not being a very old company, Splash does not feel like a buggy-startup in Beta. I've used other platforms like Eventbrite that don't have the functionality Splash does, and other comparable companies to Splash that are painful to use on the backend. I would also say that the Splash team and culture is a plus. They offer a lot of training tutorials and every call is always a fun one with their team.
There are multiple people across our organisation who use CVENT Event Management. They do only use the simple features and thats mainly for registrations, but the simplicity of being able to duplicate events makes life easier for those members. They are able to duplicate events and keep them running smooth and take payments.
It helps me manage a number of events that I would not otherwise be able to make invitations for, manage rsvps, and do check ins. We used a more expensive product previously but it had fewer features so this is definitely an upgrade.
Using Splash saves me time from needing to follow up with guests. I also love the "send later" feature for email.
The support staff make this product super valuable as I am able to accomplish more with their help.
