Salesloft is a provider of their eponymous sales engagement platform that helps sellers and sales teams drive more revenue. The Modern Revenue Workspace™ by Salesloft is presented as a place for sellers to execute all of their digital selling tasks, communicate with buyers, understand what to do next, and get the coaching and insights they need to win. The vendor states thousands of the world’s most successful sales teams, like those at IBM, Shopify, Square, and Cisco, drive more…
We use both. They are very similar but Gong.io goes into far more details analyzing the calls and giving reminders. You can see who is actually talking and move around in the conversation a bit easier than in Salesloft.
Gong and Salesloft have similar features regarding conversation intelligence and call analytics but Gong had a forecasting tool that helps in understanding the overall health of the business. The insights that Gong shows during the forecasting make it stand apart from similar …
We are a user of both Salesloft and Salesforce, but during our review, it was clear that Gong was the market leader in terms of offering AI and actionable insights, being able to create trackers, have transcriptions. The fact that it integrated seamlessly with the above …
Both Outreach and Salesloft allow for call recording but are missing all features that fall under call intelligence, and simply offer the option to go back and listen to calls.
I tried to use Salesloft conversation intelligence and was bumbling around in the interface. It also doesn't give me the insights and analytics like Gong.
GONG is far and above the best product in this category that I reviewed. Everything from our interaction with sales to onboarding and now dealing with customer success has been flawless and smooth. I had previous experience with the platform, and when I re-evaluated, there was …
Gong was already a selected vendor. I have not used or tried any vendors but likely would not look to switch. Why change something that Isn't broken It is a great tool that I really enjoy using.
Gong is the best in the space no question. I don’t think any other platform will gain the majority of market share away from Gong. It is somewhere I would have liked to work a few years ago I’m sure their sales team sold the software like hotcakes. Good stuff!
It is my opinion that the overall user interface and usability of the Gong interface are better in almost every way. While on paper these two platforms do many of the same things, Gong does them all better and in a more user-friendly manner. Some things Gong does not do, like …
I have used other call recording software platforms, like Zoom and Chorus.ai. However those platforms are not the easiest to leverage and get around in. Gong makes everything very easy to get to and you can find what you are looking for without having to search around aimlessly …
Cirrus was so bad. It was slow and never properly added information from Salesforce into the merge fields. I always had to manually update my emails, which was awful. When we implemented SalesLoft and it actually added the merge data in, I couldn't believe it. I can send emails …
We were previously using Mixmax and found it to be generally quite good. We also evaluated Outreach before selecting Salesloft. We chose to move to Salesloft because of a) the size of the company and the reputation in the industry; b) our team members had previous experience …
The UI for RingDNA is much worse. The dialer is clunky, and it's not very user friendly. The cadences aren't as customizable and the overall workflow is poor when compared to SalesLoft. There also isn't a mobile app at all for RingDNA. It felt like the generic version of …
Stacks up well against Outreach but only used Outreach for a short period. Personally Outreach had some features which Salesloft does not, pausing cadences, taking bank holidays into account with cadences, tasks coming due at a specific time not just date, ability to prioritize …
I've used different software to track emails and cadences throughout my sales career. SalesLoft has been the easiest to learn and the team has been very helpful with onboarding all of the representatives on our sales team. Integrations in salesforce are huge as well.
It stacks up very well against its competition but from my use of it, I haven't seen any other solutions that can do what it does with all its integrations and how easy it is to use and set up.
Very similar tools, some better analytics on outreach. outreach is better for putting together team sequences. Salesloft is better for individual send-outs.
Appropriate when: There's some kind of repetition and success formula that you're trying to find out. You have a big team, and you're trying to find something that works. Then gong will be helpful. In my experience, B2B SaaS will almost always benefit from it. Less well suited when: You're making big deals over a small number of very specific clients. I worked for a little bit in government and oil&gas deals, and everything in each deal varies wildly - can't see gong being that big of a help here.
Salesloft was great if you were sending out an email to prospects or clients that needed to go to more than 10 people. I loved using salesloft for mail merges going to over 100 people, because it helps you personalize those emails but still get them all out in a quick and organized manner
Call recording: you can see a transcript and also set-up trackers for keywords like competitor names being mentioned.
Active conversations in accounts: I get email reports on all active conversations that have happened with Gong so I can see across the Global team what meetings the team are having and make sure we are coordinated on large strategic accounts.
Call sharing/collaboration: the native integration with Slack means I can tag and talk to my team about calls via slack messages, and then the conversation will still appear in Gong and vice versa. This helps my team receive feedback where they are working and removes the need to check Gong to see if there is feedback there. This helps reduce tech fatigue.
With great tools comes great responsibility - you NEED training and enablement for this tool.
Being able to get a dialer phone number in a desired area is spotty, some of our major markets never have a number available in that area code.
It'd be great if we could change the Person layouts - there's information that we'd like to display and we're limited to just showing a few custom fields.
I think it's very easy to use and navigate. Occasionally, I find something things harder to find or I am unsure of their meaning. The Gong support team though are excellent and will quickly help with answers or jump on a call to review where you are at. Generally, an easy to use tool.
SalesLoft is a fantastic product that will be extremely helpful to any Sales Rep looking to organize their information and stay one step ahead. While it has its shares of quirks and bugs it proves to be an awesome tool for anyone that is in the sales industry.
I give them a 10 because, I have been using Gong for over a year now and have never had issues or concerns go un resolved in a day or two. Their communication is impeccable and their tech support is very hands on and prompt
The Gong video library is much easier to navigate. I like that everything is saved in one place that I can navigate instead of separate video files that I have to download. I also think it's really cool that our whole company can access and watch each other's meetings and videos. I sometimes watch videos of customer calls with the sales team when an account is being passed to me to get a better idea of what they've already discussed with our teams, and I'll watch calls where coworkers have discussed similar topics to what I'm working on to train myself on different subject areas. I enjoy how Gong promotes greater transparency within the company and greater collaboration between teams as a result.
we used Yesware mainly to create template emails and to see the opening of our emails. SalesLoft is winning by far as the product is much more complete, allows more automation, calendar functionality and so on. Our company selected SalesLoft because it was recommended to us and it has honestly changed my daily job.
Improved Productivity - saving time on admin duties like booking meetings or sending emails at the "right" times each week.
Increased email responses - seeing when prospects open my emails and contacting them shortly after is a godsend, especially because there is a new Seismic integration that allows me to see how long they viewed supporting documents or proposals.
Opportunity Tracking - the stages and tags that are under each person in SalesLoft allow me to review all of the actions I've taken with a prospect without having to dig through old email chains.
