We evaluated and are in the process of moving to Rippling. This was based on some decision maker's conversations with other organization. Alhtough we asked Paylocity if it is a PEO - the answer was no - most of the functionality of Rippling could have been available at …
We were very close to selecting Proliant or Rippling. Proliant because their customer service was superior to any of the other platforms we looked at. They were so much more personable and ready to work with us. However, we chose Paylocity because Proliant didn't have many …
We selected Paylocity because Rippling lacked a core integration that we required. We left Paycor due to poor IT management, unexplained glitches with no plans to resolve, and a general degradation in the functionality of the site. Paycor grew too fast too quickly, and did not …
Rippling is another tool that I think delivers on what you need it for. I would say both tools work wonderfully, but I am used to Paylocity's set up and have grown to prefer it more. I can't definitively say one is better than the other, but I can say that Paylocity delivers.
Rippling and Paycor were close contenders when we evaluated a new tool, but ultimately, I feel confident we made the right choice in selecting Paylocity for our growing business. We had about 115 employees when we migrated, and we have 150+ today across 4 countries, and the …
Paylocity was the easiest from an employee perspective and also had the most intuitive workflows from the HR side. The ability to create our own reports was very important to us and the open API has meant it is easy to use and integrate with our other solutions as we grow.
Paylocity has been a good fit with a wide offering that has fit our growing organization well. It is well integrated, and we are able to integrate expenses, and our benefits admin system pretty seemlessly as well as it being easy to push candidates from recruiting to onboarding …
Some of these other platforms were less expensive than Paylocity but lacked the integrations we sought. They also did not have the customer support and knowledge base Paylocity does. The demo for Paylocity was far more robust and curtailed our pain points than any other demo …
I am actively vetting other systems. I'm looking for a system with a unified database, position seat management, and more robust reporting. While the all other systems I mentioned don't meet all these requirements, some do. What it has shown, is that Paylocity is lagging behind …
Rippling is leaps and bounds ahead of Paylocity and ADP. Paylocity and ADP are archaic and outdated and are some of my least favorite HR/benefit software I have used. Rippling has been awesome to use and has a better UI, more features, better support, and is in my opinion the …
Rippling is more advanced than Paylocity was. It gives me more information and reminds me of important dates, such as birthdays and anniversaries. It's easier for my maintenance team to use as well. Rippling has better time management tools than Paylocity did. It also sends …
At a high level, Rippling is just more intuitive. Paylocity was hard to navigate, and I often found myself visiting multiple pages to find what I wanted. Rippling's navigation makes it easy to find what I'm looking for quickly without getting lost. Also, we recently went …
Rippling is much easier to use. It is better maintained and more accessible, which, in the end, makes it easier to use. I think there are a lot more options and things that you can do on Rippling compared to Paylocity. I feel more secure with my Rippling account.
In my opinion, Paylocity was a pain in the [...] to navigate. The app was constantly buggy to outright broken. It made us remember an arbitrary code for login that password managers didn't support. To me, just felt clunky compared to Rippling in almost every way. It did have a …
Paylocity was good, and had some feature that in a way I preferred ( pie chart in the paystub ; easier to locate accumulation and usage of PTO ) , however rippling is overall easier and more oriented to a less time consuming approach . it's also very final user friendly, …
UKG's system is ancient and their sales staff was bordering harassment. Paylocity was a very close second for us, in the end their system was just way to similar to the "frankensteined" Paycor system, just parts bought over the decades and jammed together to create one system …

Switching from Paylocity to Rippling was an upper management decision and I had no say so on the switch. I am simply an employee and use Rippling to access payroll, my benefits elections, learning and safety tasks assigned by the company. I also use it to access my healthy …
Rippling is ahead of the curve on automation for HRIS systems. The others pale in comparison. If you need a system that functions as a multitool, this is doing the work that others cannot
Rippling provides a faster and more affordable service for our medium-sized business. I know that I can rely on Rippling to provide payroll documentation promptly and efficiently each and every pay cycle. Their tools are easy to use and intuitive when filling out customized …
Rippling provided more product availability to allow us to move several systems into one. Rippling also took the time to provide the service at a cost that would work for the company when combining all of these systems without seeing a negative return on investment. They were …
Rippling provides the information in a clearer and more compact form. Unlike its competitor, it does not require the candidate to be aware of updates in the hiring process. Rippling delivers updates in real time, which allows the candidate to be aware of what is happening, thus …
Light years better from a usability standpoint. Easier to scale with than Gusto, which really starts to fall apart at about 100 employees. And finally, the ability to integrate with a majority of the systems we're already using today and to provision (and deprovision) those in …
In my opinion, superior reporting and easier access to manage HR & Benefits. Not too many bells and whistles, the user-friendly platform and data set pulls are great for myself and my clients.
I recently moved an employer/company to Rippling from TriNet. The experience has been oustanding and this employer is very happy with the move to Rippling. The service support from TriNet is severely lacking and it is very difficult for employers and employees to get any …
Rippling provides more features than the other products and the user interface is easier to use and integrates better with other platforms. We use NetSuite, and Rippling integrates well with NetSuite. Rippling also is a lot faster when it comes to loading screens and opening …
Rippling has one of the best UI, customer service was incredible, lot more offerings for the value of money we are paying to them. We also noted that other service providers HRIS system was not as great as Rippling where it can connect with ERP (without syncing errors) and …
The functionality the platform holds is top-notch where I can house details regarding contact information, requested rates, what jobs we're submitting them to, and all the personal information (CV, certifications, degrees, etc) that we obtain from our candidates. It's extremely helpful that I am able to submit candidates externally as that is our M.O. routinely. I really like it.
Recordkeeping, filing reports, paying taxes, and having one location for everything is amazing. From recruiting to onboarding, we still need to make changes so we have less paperwork to manage, such as permission to run background checks and drug testing. We will work on this, but when you are busy, it is easy to put this off.
It has a favourites section for commonly used functions. This is perfect for logging in pre-sift and managing my timekeeping. It is easy to view my payslip. It is well-documented and accurate, and it also provides me with an accurate timeline for when to expect my pay to clear. Overall, very easy to use and great interface.
It requires me to use either Chrome or Edge so I can use Paylocity. It doesn't support Firefox, which is the browser I was using prior to being forced to switch to Edge so I can use the software and sign my contract.
Time entries are not auto saved. This happened once or twice to me in the past year when I was submitting my time entries and a sudden power outage happened, I was halfway and basically, I needed to start from scratch since it does not have auto save.
Mobile app is still buggy. It happened to be 3 times that it didn't reliably let me clock in that I had to do it on my work computer - so I had to give it up and use the web version.
Rippling could improve their payment days. Currently they make employee payments around the 15th and 30th of the month, but it varies slightly with every month. It would make more sense to do this payment on every other Friday or every other Monday.
We have invested a lot of time and technically money (on the part of our people) in JobDiva. We had an independent company come in and do a gap analysis to tell us where we were using the product as we should be and where we were not. We are working on correcting things that we are not doing to "best practice" for our business.
The system is easy to use. I love the knowledge base system offered, I can answer many of my questions by looking here first before calling in. If i do have to call in to the help desk, everyone seems to be super knowledgably about the Paylocity Product and if they are unable to assist, which rarely happens, they will escalate my call to the next level of assistance
I've been fully impressed with the tool so far in my 6 months of being a daily user. It's rare to run into an issue that can't be solved. Customer service is quick to respond and are usually very helpful. The price is great for the upgrade we got from our past tool. We hit our ROI within the first month.
JobDiva is one of the best applicant tracking systems - it's easy for recruiters to use and provides the ability to quickly build a search and filter millions of resumes of available candidates with the required levels of experience, skills or attributes. Jobdiva itself is a very intelligent and powerful tool to recruit and source qualified candidates.
I gave Paylocity an 8 because it's easy to use once you learn it, and it saves a lot of time by keeping payroll, time tracking, and HR in one place. It has a lot of useful features, but some reports and settings can be confusing, and it takes time to learn everything. Overall, it works well and makes our job easier.
I think you are redundant with these questions. I have mentioned how easy of to use and a great tool for tracking activity. It wastes no time and has what you need. I am pleased with its usability, and if it were up to me, I would keep using it.
Over the last 3 years, we've only had one major service issue that rendered Airbase unusable for us for about 24 hours. That said, they navigated the SVB bank crisis very well and made sure funds were available during that time.
I like that the availability in using Rippling at any given time is useful to me. Getting on the site freely when I need gives me security of knowing that I can be in control of viewing health insurance and hours information. I have yet to get any errors in using the Rippling app.
Over all I think JobDiva works well. It has some issues from time to time, but the support staff seems to handle it quickly. The major issue is the email merges getting black listed as spam. That takes away a very important JobDiva feature. That is our major functionality complaint these days
We had some minor hiccups throughout the year but they have all been fixable. Paylocity integrates well with our 401k provider, Principal, and our benefits, OneDigital. It makes it simple to house everything and have it all connected. It doesn't slow anything down to have Principal integrated. It makes it more efficient
Rippling's performance has been great, no errors or glitches yet so far. I am confident that Going from one page to the next and all its complexity usage does not lag or times out, it works effectively and efficiently. While using Rippling and other apps it does not tend to slow it down, works great. No complaints.
Usually, we don't come across downtime or any such issues. However, whenever required, the Support team is always up and ready to solve it as soon as possible. One of its best features is it always Notifies users of any changes related to any of its uses or new additions.
I have contacted support on several occasions, mostly for assistance with voiding a check and running an off-cycle payroll. The account managers and support team were all very knowledgeable and helpful. They provided great insight and clarity in answering my questions and helping me navigate these processes. I learn something new and helpful each time I speak with them! On a separate note, we have reported technical issues regarding several Paylocity onboarding tasks since this past year. We have reached out several times regarding these issues, but are still waiting for a resolution. It seems sometimes that technical concerns are reported, with no proper solution or follow-up.
They have been quite responsive to questions and clarifying settings, approaches, listening to feedback. Their knowledge base and training seem well-established and user-focused. Really like their offerings in Rippling U to help orient admins on features, functionality, and best practices. The IT implementation specialist was kind, efficient, and walked us through each screen, explaining different scenarios as we got things configured. They followed up after each call with action items, recommendations, and made themselves available between working sessions. The whole process felt very productive.
I didn't have in-person training, but I'm sure it was just as great as any other training/assistance Paylocity provides. Paylocity customer service is always available. You never have to be on hold and their answers are always accurate and timely. Documents in the help section are helpful as well. My in-person training was conducted y one of our employees who was involved in the initial set-up and training of all employees. She was excellent.
It was virtually, click orange button in top right corner, click run report, hit submit. The training was minimal at best. I did not know what I was doing, so I just wrote down the steps, so when they steps failed I had no idea what to do, where I was in the process, What the terms mean or where to find them. When I had questions it was always the same answers, no understanding for WHAT I was doing when I hit the orange button.
This is a SaaS platform so the implementation is easy. One thing to consider is to make sure your organization has agreed to this system. Not all will like it but atleast everyone must understand how this will impact Staffing efforts in a positive way. Once everyone is bought then the rest is smooth. The reason I mention this is because after the implementation some where reluctant to change thus not maximizing JOBDIVA to its full capacity.
Implementation was a bit bumpy and Paylocity team not always available for next steps and/or questions. I feel like Paylocity could have done a better job in their fact finding as far as what we were currently doing, our payroll policies and needs, etc. so that we would have run into less issues as we moved forward.
It's really easy to implement in comparison to other tools or applications. Different key points are easily configured and implemented as per need, having different configurations in systems. Implementation is something which binds the different parameters of an organization in a single row. Implementation of rippling is much easier, quicker, and error free than any other software. I recommend it strongly!
Bullhorn seemed very focused on integration with LinkedIn but was missing on other factors. WinSearch was lacking as an ATS on all fronts, mass email would go to same people, there was no real prevention of duplicates and there was really no great way to link information and easy access later on
Paylocity is SO far ahead of Paycor, it's not even funny. Just from the implementation standpoint alone, Paycor was an absolute nightmare. Paylocity had some struggles, but that goes along with any implementation. The experience with Paylocity was LIGHTYEARS ahead of our experience with Paycor, and the system itself is so, so much better.
Rippling far outshines Employment Hero from an LMS perspective; the EH LMS is really bad and has very little functionality, as well as being completely user-unfriendly. The UE is much better with Rippling, no more searching for things that are in obscure places or running reports that need refining to the extreme.
We have gone from a medium sized company to a larger company with no issues whatsoever with Paylocity being able to keep up or do what we need it to do for the size of our needs. In fact, it does more than we even use at this juncture
I can go on here and see all my hours and pto plus health benefits. I like to have the work handbook handy to refer to legal things. How to work my role within it's limits. Being able to put in my hours and view when they are approved is a huge benefit for me.
Some are knowledgable others not as much and sometimes instead of helping you fix the issue will just give you some directions and expect you to try to figure it out yourself. Also, when your Account Manager needs to escliate the issue to another group, it can take a long time for them to get to your issue and there's no commuication.
It had a positive impact of the number of candidates I was able to reach and which actually helped to increase the hiring rate at one of our clients.
The reporting system in JobDiva. It actually helped to focus more on the business objectives instead of documenting about each and every employee.
The only negative it had was that in a ew positions (asking for niche skills), when it required to submit candidates in a quick time, the other vendors were able t he win the race.
The time savings alone is worth the cost. I went from having to spend 3 - 4 full business days on payroll to about 1.
Being able to look all employee data up in one place is a lifesaver and time saver - even outside of the office if I need to access information quickly it is all just a sign in away.
It has saved significant time and reduced confusion related to onboarding. Everyone is able to see what stage an employee is at, I do not need to worry about employees potentially working for us illegally thanks to eVerify, and I am always assured that all required documentation for regulatory purposes has been obtained prior to employment beginning.
