Microsoft Exchange Server is the sole option if storing emails locally is a must. If you're a startup in need of an email hosting service, I recommend
. Exchange Server has lost its reputation for security in recent years, and I don't think it's a suitable fit if you don't have a managed staff, either in-house or externally provided. Backups must be set up and tested, additional spam filtering software is required, and ongoing security updates must be applied.

If you don't have a huge budget and want something that works with minor quirks here and there then Zoho Mail is definitely something you should look into. For half the price of Google G Suite or Office account you get 5GB of storage per user and can send up to 25MB emails without restrictions. Great for small businesses in my opinion. I have had some issues with their spam filter, but we use
and just shut off the one that comes with Zoho Mail. Zoho's spam filter isn't horrible but you should definitely use something in addition or instead of what comes with Zoho.

The integration between Teams Meeting and Resource booking is generally very good. The Scheduling Assistance makes it easy to scan calendars and find free periods to provisionally scheduled events. Marking yourself as Out of the Office and busy is easy, as is sharing your calendar within the team/organization or individuals. Voicemail integration and the ability to receive missed chats in your inbox are highly used and useful. As the data is stored in the organization’s hardware, any disaster may lead to the loss of email and servers. Losing data might affect business continuity and rebuilding it can be costly. Security remains a major concern. Security of data loss is main concern. To ensure that, organization needs to configure networks, systems and Exchange platform against possible threats. Hardware and license costs are high. Read full review When receiving an email with images that are not displayed automatically, you have to activate this function manually. It is a bit uncomfortable, I would prefer that it be activated automatically The filter to search for information is not very accurate and unfriendly The way to manage the storage capacity and to buy more space for the mail is not very friendly Read full review Likelihood to Renew
It is the best, and perhaps only, email solution worth considering.

Microsoft Exchange is well suited for inexperienced Messaging Admins and veterans alike. If you have no idea of the fundamentals of modern email (SMTP, mail headers, MX Records, SPF/DKIM, Encryption, etc.) and just need to get people's mailboxes and calendars the support they need, you can use it with confidence. If you are an old pro and want to leverage and dovetail your Powershell and AD with Exchange, you will be rewarded for your efforts.

We have a good enterprise agreement with Microsoft which affords us quick phone support. I have found the support staff knowledgeable and prompt with a solution when required. At times it may be difficult to schedule a call back, this is mainly due to our need for calls early in the morning which happens to be during a shift change at Microsoft support.

I have spoken with Zoho several times and their support is always friendly and helpful. I have always been asked for security pins and codes when seeking assistance which helps me to feel my accounts are secure and I have never had to wait on hold to speak with someone for more than 5 minutes. They always seem to have someone available to help. If you call asking for instructions on how to do something they gladly walk you through the process and if you just need something done and don't have time to do it yourself they will happily customize whatever you need without you having to spend all day with it.

Implementation/conversion can be quite complex and, unless you have certified Exchange administrators in-house, you should strongly consider a 3rd party consultant for this implementation.

• We were using
for little time since it does not have the adequate functionalities to address the business problems we have or improve the quality of collaborative work between departments. • The main reason we decided to implement Zoho Mail. It is because this service is much more complete than any of the ones currently on the market. It is perfect for teamwork and increases the fluidity of collaborative work between departments.

The only time Exchange has failed us is when we did something to cause the failure.
