We use CrownPeak and its PageChecker function on a daily basis to ensure standards are met and kept on our website. We also use it to search for copies. We check our accessibility scores against our peers. We also use the usability and SEO scores to help us create a more inclusive website for users.

When building a new page that is urgently required on the site, PageChecker allows us to very quickly check that the page is at the standard expected. It also flags if that's not the case. Running Page Checker takes only a matter of seconds which is fantastic. I am unable to think of scenarios where it's not appropriate.
I've always received very good support from the Crownpeak team. It's easy to raise a ticket. They are very quick in responding. All issues raised have always been fixed swiftly. I'm very happy with the support provided.

Crownpeak DQM is a great product to help with automated scans both on a "live" website as well as during the development process. It does not replace manual scans - but rather should be complimentary. It also helps provide a great "paper trail" of work done for compliance auditing purposes.
Crownpeak, as a company, has been very responsive to any questions. They provide dedicated team members to help you get the most out of your investment.

Dqm consists out of a couple of different aspects, first of all you have the dashboard, this is used by the gate keepers of quality, Digital Services and the content owners of several different markets and businesses. Using this dashboards we keep track of large scale issues, template or component issues but alo hunt down the priority issues. The other tool is the cms plugin, this is used by all authors to make sure no isseus go live, and because some issues cannot be indicated by that plugin we also onboarded the Dqm live page checker. This tool can be used on the live page to check all checkpoints that are in the dashboard. We've been using the dashboards for more than a year and using the benchmarks we see great improvement on the website and apart from that over 30 checkpoints were added to make sure all aspects on quality were included. Some minor aspects (which the crownpeak team is developing) is reporting both on plugin usage as well as a daily management setup in the dashboard and the new checkpoints do not give any weight to the benchmarking scores, though they should.
  • The tickets, every single day I'm amazed by the ticketing tool and people that work on them, unfortunately I'm no longer being asked to grade tickets because every single one of them would be 10/10
  • The tooling itself is very intuitive, I myself am addicted to the scorings, its an amazing motivator!
  • The possibility to together with the Dqm team work on new checkpoint is so much fun!
  • The providing of info on improvements can be improved, there's a lot of information on the forum but a biweekly newsletter for tool owners like myself would be nice
  • Additional checkpoints could be suggested, its very onesided when it comes to new checkpoint creation
  • New checkpoints should be able to give weight on the benchmarking scores, insights on how the weight in the bemchmarking scores would be nice
  • I'm worried about the new ui and how it will affect the daily operations
If you have a fully customized cms and have people working on the site with html and css knowledge this is the best tool ever, all specifics can be checked. Using ab tests and optimization services we identify best practices of the website and everywhere the best practices aren't implemented we find using the custom checkpoints. Aspects that cannot be automated via a quick IT solution is turned into a checkpoint and that's great!
As previously mentioned, the team that works on tickets is amazing, I get an elaborate response within 24 hours and they really think together with me on how to solve issues and create new checkpoints. The only reason why I'm giving a 9 is that the company contact could be improved with something like newsletters and less automated mails.

Crownpeak DQM is used in many ways - to pro-actively manage our web estate, to identify issues, and to check daily developments before they go live. We have also recently implemented the Crownpeak Autofix tool to enhance our accessibility for all of our web users.

Crownpeak is very user-friendly, meaning a digital or marketing team with all levels of experience can pick it up easily and find it useful in their day-to-day activities. It can be used to review a site that has been inherited by a team, just as much as it can be used to pro-actively manage one on a daily basis. Restricted checkpoints also come in useful for identifying where content sits across a web estate, eg if a term is no longer compliant or an individual leaves a company and references need removing.
Support is always personal and quick to respond. Alternative solutions to any issues we experience are always offered promptly, and this has enabled us to support internal projects efficiently with an incumbent tool.

Crownpeak Digital Quality Management (DQM) gives us the oversight we need to achieve this.

Crownpeak Digital Quality Management (DQM) is well suited to any organization with multiple online services that need to be monitored for quality. This can be as simple as ensuring copyright dates are up to date, or as complex as identifying issues in the source code that require development. Crownpeak Digital Quality Management (DQM) would be less useful for a company that has just one website.
The support team is sometimes slow to respond, and on a couple of occasions I've had to raise the same issue multiple times. However, they are always helpful and will always work to find a solution.

By leveraging DQM's analytical and benchmarking data, we are able to inform and create efficiencies within our manual digital accessibility process. DQM enables us to:

We also use it with other data to identify any changes in the websites and management team issues that may be causing an impact on the site

We consult on the resell and implement Crownpeak DXP across a range of clients. Typically the DXP is used globally by our client organisations across distributed marketing teams in a number of markets, to setup and manage digital marketing and digital business ecosystems. Specific business problems solved using the DXP are: control and consistency of web content and digital customer experience across markets; setup and management of B2C and B2B2C business models (including e-commerce, PIM, CRM); control and consistency of brand experience (including DAM).
  • Ensures quality and consistency of content implementation across distributed teams and markets.
  • Quick and easy content updates across global digital ecosystems.
  • Custom checkpoints to identify, highlight and manage business updates across multiple websites (e.g. product detail, terminology, customer messaging, brand updates)
  • Custom branded dashboard reports would be an excellent new feature
DQM deals with quality assurance across most areas of website content and customer experience; including content quality, brand updates, product detail and SEO effectiveness (including broken links, H-tags etc.).

It does overlap with some of the other custom tools we already use in areas such as SEO quality and effectiveness. The advantage it gives however, is bringing all the factors listed above into a single tool and dashboard, making the process of highlighting, reporting and addressing all the website factors that affect customer experience and business effectiveness into a single space.

DQM is also useful for isolating single business and Customer Experience (CX) issues for our clients using the 'custom checkpoint' tools. For example, our most recent custom usage has been in the management of diversity and inclusion language and terminology across a global web estate, to ensure consistency of language and approach across an ecosystem of websites managed by distributed teams.
DQM support teams are responsive and knowledgeable, and will spend time working directly with client and agency teams to ensure the best outcomes are achieved. I can't fault the level of input and engagement from Crownpeak support teams across the board.

Not ideal for most of the manual case testing. Automated test cases reported could be caught by few more tools similar to DQM which are a lot more affordable. DQM could offer more personalized packages for manual testing accompanied by automated scans. The cases covered are ideal but more work could be done around automating more test cases.

We are using Crownpeak DQM to make sure our production and staged websites are ADA compliant. It is currently used by IT and to a lesser extent Legal. I am the main point of contact and admin for the DQM. I am also the main person responsible for the remediation of found issues. The business problem it addresses is possible litigation for non-ADA compliant websites or apps.
  • DQM does a great job at identifying code that doesn't meet WCAG guidelines.
  • DQM has nice reporting tools and it is easy to deliver the results to non-IT employees.
  • The Page Checker tool is very helpful for real-time scanning. This makes it possible to make sure fixes work before the next main scan.
  • It would be helpful if the Issues page under Website showed the WCAG level for each issue (A, AA, AAA). You currently have to look up the guideline to find the level.
  • There is no indicator that a page is currently being scanned. During a website scan, some of the reports are blank or missing information. Having a notification on the main page showing which websites are being scanned would be helpful.
  • Some ADA compliance items are left off, such as keyboard navigation, tabbing, etc.
  • It doesn't view the websites on mobile devices or if using a screen reader. Some pages or formatting changes depending on resolution. The DQM, from what I have seen, doesn't account for that.
I would definitely recommend Crownpeak DQM to colleagues. It does a good job of scanning existing code and offers nice recommended solutions. The Page Checker tool is also very useful. I used it daily while developing a new website. I would caution against completely relying on DQM for ADA compliance, though, as it does miss some things. It doesn't appear to make sure keyboard navigation or screen readers would be able to use the website. I would recommend supplementing DQM with an actual user functionality test.
Crownpeak DQM support was fantastic! We started off with weekly calls to go over any issues or questions we had, but eventually moved it to monthly since the tool was so easy to learn. All of my questions were met with clear answers. If I had an issue between calls, I was able to email their support group and almost always got an answer or solution the same day.

It enables us to pro-actively monitor the websites rather than wait to be told about issues by customers or other colleagues. It also helps us to quickly review any new brands we bring into the group.

The PageChecker also provides a great tool to ensure you can review your content pre-go live and keep new issues to a minimum.
Online support [is] always quick to reply and usually [has] a fix ready and implemented within hours. Regular catch-ups with Account Managers [have] ensured that issues are addressed even more quickly, with the ability to see the results within days following a re-crawl of the sites. As one of the developers/users it has been useful and time-effective to identify and prioritize from the dashboard, that has been easy to use. Now it has been implemented across the whole organization for their web development and easy to assist with any questions.
