We use [Indeed.com] as the primary tool to find applicants. It is the most popular platform and therefore gives us the largest amount of candidates over a week or month span. Works great, allows you to create a job posting quickly and always gets a good number of candidates.
  • Allows you to reach applicants on a larger basis
  • Easy to post a job and get feedback from applicants
  • Love the filters to try and filter out candidates that wouldn't be a great fit
  • Not as easy to use for people applying to jobs
  • Doesn't get as precise candidates as other software's without making a bunch of filters
For the price this is the best and I think most common platform for finding applicants online. Not as easy to use as ZipRecruiter but is still pretty easy to use. We get the majority of our employee hires from using [Indeed.com]. It works great!

[Indeed.com] is used by me to outsource work when workflow is to high for my team to complete in a timely manner. I also use indeed to find new jobs when workflow is slow or current jobs are completed faster than anticipated. Indeed is my go to trusted site to find work fast.
  • Ease of job searching
  • Easy to use on a mobile device
  • It’s free
  • Overwhelms candidates that have outdated resumes
  • Overwhelming to less tech savvy users
  • Job descriptions previews are small
[Indeed.com] is great for the modern tech savvy users with a updated resume and previous work descriptions. Where indeed is less appropriate is for someone who has an outdated resume or limited work history as it can become over whelming to some. Then the job description previews are small and hard to read with a very minimal description.

[Indeed.com] is being used by our HR dept to search for qualified talent. It is not used across the whole organization but it is used for all open positions across organization.
  • Job posting
  • Resume Search
  • Some features are not user friendly
[Indeed.com] is well suited for any organization with hiring needs. Sometimes the cost of sponsorship is a bit pricey.

[Indeed.com] is the primary platform our company uses to recruit and hire new team members.
  • Reputation as the top hiring platform
  • Easy to use job posting system
  • Their sales team can be too persistent
  • Their quizzing and custom profiling options could be improved
  • Recruiting recommendations aren't always good fits
[Indeed.com] allows you to make good hires quickly. You can get a ton of applicants in a very short time.

My manager and I both use it to post jobs for the whole organization. It is very helpful when we run out of referrals to restock our resume options.
  • Being able to alter already posted jobs make it easy to post new positions
  • Ease of using the website
  • Pulls a lot of good talent for us
  • We are able to post jobs in certain locations
  • Customize each job posting for what we need
  • The only downside I have experienced is it being down for maintenance on a week day when needed
Indeed.com is well suited for finding resumes for job postings. It is not appropriate for higher-income jobs like a Doctor or Provider.

As our business has begun expanding over the last year, it's been a great opportunity for us to consolidate our work applications. We can then easily communicate with applicants and schedule interviews. We really like the personalized questions we can ask for each new position.
  • Application management.
  • Location and Job Title specification.
  • On a user side, it would be nice to add more images into our job offers.
This software has worked great in expanding our client base. It's convenient to fill out and also works for referrals.

Indeed.com is used by my current company to primarily recruit for positions such as skilled trades and salary roles. We use it within the HR Department to recruit for any Departments within the plan that have opening such as those listed above.
It is so widely used by many talent pools which helps to reach many candidates.
  • Communication - Emails sent when candidates apply and message.
  • Ease of Posting - If you have a similar job posting from the past, you can easily use the same format which saves time.
  • Feedback - The options in regards to leaving feedback for candidates is great. There are 3 buttons-a check, question mark & X-to help you group candidates based on your initial thoughts. You can also add notes that only you and your team can see. I also like that it has the option for an auto-generated rejection message.
  • Curated Candidates - Although I think this was meant to help with candidate grouping, the recent update to add a "curated candidate" button is confusing. It often includes some of the same candidates in the regular list but it is confusing to toggle back and forth between the two.
  • Sales - The reps are constantly reaching out asking if we would like to purchase another one of their products. I understand why but it can be frustrating.
I think Indeed.com is well suited for salary roles and skilled trade roles. I think it is not really worth the money to post for general hourly roles because there are so many clicks and candidates that are just not suited for the positions. Salary and skilled trades are more difficult positions to fill so Indeed helps to reach a larger demographic with a higher chance for successfully filling the role(s).

We us [Indeed.com] for most of our recruiting. While it works great most of the time, I've found that people are not always honest when answering your screening questions which is not Indeed's fault. The Virtual Recruiter that is in Beta Testing still has some work to be done with giving a few more options - currently you can invite for an interview or mark as not a fit, they need to add a hold so that you can gather all the resume you like but are not ready to start to schedule interviews. I do like the curated list of applicants - that is very helpful if you ad is not getting good traction out there.

We have had really good luck with Indeed, above are my only complaints.
  • Ability to ask screening questions
  • Ability to customize the screening questions
  • Ability to set your budget for each job posted
  • The Virtual Recruiter still needs some work
  • Allow you to change the name of a template message
  • Use a candidates real email, not one that goes thru indeed with messages.
I would definitely recommend [Indeed.com], the benefits of the job board far out way the short comings. The pricing is set by you, so if you are on a tight budget then your ad might get lost further down the list of jobs but it's out there and will come up in searches.

[Indeed.com] is one of the more focused talent finding and job finding solutions to find part time or full time employees. It provides good tools that are effective for job seekers to be alerted to new openings as well as for hiring managers to vet their applicants and find applicants. It works really well for all sides.
  • Focused and easy system
  • Clean UI without clutter
  • Doesn't feel like you are being oversold to promote postings to people who will not be qualified
  • Repetitive postings across other platforms
  • Too many emails
  • Sometimes conflicting and confusing overlapping services
[Indeed.com] is great because the focus is on finding openings or people rather than overcommunication, and there are additional features to help job finders filter out the hobs that will not be right for them or a good fit. Likewise for hiring it is really effective at whittling down applicants and keeping track.

We use Indeed.com to post job listings for our Wendy's stores. It is great because we can add different users and contact info so that the store handles all the new hires without having to put a huge burden on HR. We as HR do create the job postings etc., but it is nice that the managers can screen/interview the employees for their stores accordingly.
  • Manager access
  • Different job postings
  • Easy to use software
  • For billing purposes, we have to allocate the labor for our finance team. It would be nice if they can give us a bill by store name instead of a whole total.
I think Indeed.com is great because we can turn job postings on/off with just a click of a button. It is easy to use for both HR & our hiring managers in the store. I think more people use Indeed in general so the candidate pool is bigger in my opinion.

Our organization uses Indeed to hire in-house employees for all departments. We also use Indeed to hire remote employees in other parts of the country. We screen potential applicants based on qualifiers that we specify then narrow them down with some of the different testing and communication features that Indeed currently offers.
  • Organizes applicants
  • Allows for multiple job postings at once.
  • Has a built-in scheduler for setting up interviews.
  • Can save templates for communication.
  • More flexibility in the interview scheduler other than 30 minute increments.
  • Make it easier to keep unqualified applicants from applying to positions.
  • Require applicants to provide key info on resumes.
  • Have a reminders feature to check listing and correspondence.
Indeed is great for finding employees with the exact traits you are looking for to fill specific positions. There are parameters that will show you which needs can be met by the applicants and how many years of experience they have in those desired fields. Because we offer at-home employment, we rely on the accuracy of this feature. We can link our applicants to quizzes to confirm they have Microsoft word experience or have proficient keyboarding skills, etc. If they don’t, then we can eliminate them from the hiring process sooner rather than later. Saves a lot of time.

We currently use Indeed.com for all our recruiting needs. Every job opening we have, we are quick to throw it on Indeed.com. No secret, Indeed.com is the nation leading job site and it shows. We receive great response from job seekers. I am the only associate that uses Indeed.com but we use it for our company-wide job openings. One of the business problems it should address is the way it changes job seekers' resumes and their email addresses, which makes it difficult to connect with applicants at times.
  • Attracts job seekers' attention
  • Organization of applicants
  • Communication of applicants through Indeed.com messenger
  • Changing applicants emails
  • Employer career page is confusing to use
  • Lower prices
Indeed.com is the leading search engine for job seekers making it almost a gold mine when looking for great candidates. It usually gives us a wide range of candidates to interview usually leading to a great hire. The quick access to job seekers through messenger has helped when you cant reach them on the phone. Indeed struggles with re posting jobs. If you posted a job 3 months ago and you wish to repost the job, you have to start back over. They aren't able to save your old jobs to make it easily re-postable. This is a little time consuming when other job websites give you that option.

We are using Indeed.com company-wide at 13 locations and are able to get good traffic of candidates. Indeed.com has helped us in sorting out good candidates and reduces the time spent going through each resume.
  • Easy to use and manage
  • Reduces time consumption
  • Customer Service
  • Billing
Indeed.com works great most of the times but we did face some downtime. It is easy to use, and integration with HR system is great.

Indeed.com is the primary job posting source for the company outside of our careers site. We use job postings only, and do not subscribe to a resume search license.
  • High applicant volume.
  • Provide actual email addresses for applicants. Currently, Indeed uses their own email addresses that have a high rate of emails sent to spam or junk boxes.
  • Allow integration to ATS without consequences. If you don't use Indeed Apply and the Indeed platform for candidate management you will get significantly fewer applicants
  • Get rid of Indeed resumes. The formatting is awful and candidates don't even realize it.
Indeed is a necessary evil. The job postings do drive higher applicant volume than I've seen compared to other job boards, and that part is free, which is fantastic. If you recruit/hire a high volume of hourly workers, it definitely gets the job done. Where it can improve is usability. Indeed makes sure you can't funnel applicants to your own careers site, and if you do, you will get significantly lower applicant volume. The platform is an addition to your ATS, not something that can be integrated well and it adds several steps to your current recruiting process. The indeedmail.com email addresses it makes you use to contact the candidate are commonly flagged as SPAM, so in order to reach the candidates, you cannot rely on your email being delivered to the candidate.

We've used Indeed to help us find the right candidates to meet our team-building needs. The good thing that Indeed does is it provides us with a great database of potential candidates and we are able to find qualified candidates pretty quickly. In a fast-moving business environment these days it really helps to have a job-filling partner that we can rely on.
  • Indeed provides us with qualified candidates without having to do a lot of digging or wasting time.
  • The interface for setting up job postings is super easy to set up and use.
  • It's getting competitive in the job posting market and we are constantly getting pushed by other online job posting companies. I'd like to see more benefits of why we should work with Indeed over their competition.
  • I would like to see more updates to the platform on a more regular basis to stay ahead of the competition.
We have found that Indeed is pretty useful for any of the job postings that we have made over the years. Access to the account management interface is pretty easy and getting lots of resumes and applications makes decision making easy for us. Indeed has been perfect for most positions we need to fill. The only place where we see some weakness is for the high-level managerial roles we need to fill as those tend to be a much more intricate process.

We use Indeed.com For our recruitment across multiple markets. We utilize this site as it is the most robust and most commonly used by the applicants in our field. It is being used in our entire organization. We also use it as a company profile for potential applicants to view.
  • Widely used by applicants in our field
  • User-friendly
  • Customer service
  • Pricing high to get jobs sponsored
  • Monthly budgets run out and jobs get taken off website
Indeed.com is well suited for posting jobs in multiple markets. It may be a little expensive if you don't have a high recruitment budget because a lot of companies utilize Indeed.com, so if you aren't sponsoring your jobs, your posting may be at the bottom. Applicants won't be able to see it as quickly as others.

Indeed.com is being used by our entire organization. We are using it for hiring new employees and finding prospects. The accounting department, buying department, marketing department have been posting jobs and reviewing applicants from Indeed frequently for jobs posted. Our teams are small and have limited time and resources, that is why Indeed is a great option for our business. The startup mentally starts with using technology to leverage our needs versus man power and that is why Indeed is very valuable for us.
  • Easy to post positions.
  • Easy to get applicants.
  • Can look and feel redundant.
  • It is just a simple job search engine.
Indeed is clearly the best job board and job search engine at the current time and place. They are functional over 60 countries and demand the space from all in the job search business. It is best suited for big businesses because it has great reach to prospective applicants, Indeed gets the most organic traffic and paid traffic. If a company needs to hire an employee quickly, I would use Indeed over any other job board online.

Our org uses Indeed.com to post jobs and source potential candidates. We also utilize it to find similar job titles and postings to reassess our strategy.
  • Huge candidate base - about 50% of our candidates apply from Indeed.com.
  • Easy to use - Indeed scrapes postings from our ATS
  • Formatting of job posts does not translate well sometimes
  • Indeed.com doesn't have great search parameters to find candidates
Indeed.com is excellent for our candidate pool. It is really easy for our job posts to get scraped to Indeed and about half of our candidates come from Indeed. It's easy for candidates to use and apply. It is more difficult to source for candidates through Indeed; I think this could be built out a little more to make it easier for employers.
