The Pega platform addresses two main issues within our HR Service Center focused primarily on information/knowledge sharing within HR and a centralized service center to drive HR related inquiries to. We currently use Pega primarily within the HR function as a tool to house HR-specific content and information to help drive employee/manager self-service capabilities as well as a case management tool to assist in higher-level inquiries where additional HR support is needed.
  • Back-end interface is easy to design and customize
  • Front-end user experience has been impactful compared to our previous solution
  • Integration with other systems (Workday) allows for customized content and case management capabilities
Cons
  • Better consultative services when implementing the Pega team
  • Could use a standard "pre-fab" platform to build upon instead of building the system from the ground up for every client
  • More robust case management capabilities around workflows
It seems well-suited to act as a knowledge management platform for multiple shared services. Would like to see how AI can be integrated into knowledge sharing capabilities driving catered content to specific employee populations.

Our organization uses Pega Platform for case management and app development in our department. We provide solutions to our business needs using the Pega Platform. Our apps are built using the Pega platform and features. It addresses problems like employee management, which reduces a lot of the man hours that are put into carrying out the business.

Pega Platform will specifically come in handy and will be very useful if your business needs are to be dealing with a lot of data collection, in considerably large data completion forms. It is less appropriate in fulfilling some complex business needs like invoking APIs that are hosted by an external server. Or if the business needs to have a lot of mobile development.

I have been developing BPM/Case Management solutions for some of the major firms for the past 9 years and I must say it’s a very fulfilling and rewarding experience. I feel lucky to be associated with Pega, because it happened by chance not by choice. Pega has been reinventing itself time and again, adapting itself to the ever changing market conditions. It started as a work flow solution, then enhanced itself as a case management solution, with various industry specific frameworks. It has become the leader of the BPM world. With the very critical speed to market, high availability, low code (getting lower with every release) designing experience, adherence to the BPM standards and more, it earned trust and is continuing to place itself as the leader in BPM. I have particularly used Pega to develop CRM solutions, pure workflow solutions and all the clients are immensely happy with the product and the support they get from Pega.

  • High availability, With Pega7 the clients are assured a 99.99% availability of the system.
  • Low code designing interface, with built in wizards for integration, app development, DCO and more.
It adheres well to BPM and case management and more.

It's being used across whole organization. It addresses solutions in Retail, Small Business and Commercial banking. It's also used by HR and shared services. It's solutions for credit card, mortgage units, central mortgage unit and central accounting unit, net promoter score, contact center, onboarding, product onboarding, credit adjudication, Customer Interaction Management and Customer Relationship Management.

Pega is well suited for case management applications. In most organizations where robotics and AI are used to streamline workflow processing, Pega fits in perfectly well to run workflows combining these together and delivering a better customer experience. Pega's case management helps in process reengineering. When it combines with Analytics, the decisions made are contextual and relevant. Robotics helps to automate a large chunk of manual processes and combined with AI all these offer the best customer experience.
