Overall Satisfaction with Eventbrite

I utilized Eventbrite to register for a music industry panel in the last year. It's simple, trusted, and well known. I have never had issues with the platform, either as a user or as an event planner. With COVID, I have been able to stay connected with industry professionals via events listed on the platform.

  • The app could utilize better push notifications
  • Data reporting is not as granular as it should be
  • POS integration
  • CRM developement
  • Community management
  • Helps reach customer community
  • Provides a turnkey solution to attendee data
  • Cheaper than most enterprise event platforms
Both are wonderful tools. Eventbrite has more recognition among non-professional event planners. While the features stacked up nicely, it was the familiar navigation and UX that put Eventbrite over the edge.

Overall, Eventbrite is the gold standard and should be the benchmark any event producer--physical or digital--should base their decision on.

Well suited for small- to medium-scale events with fewer than four ticket types.

Not well suited to large, multi territory, data intensive events. For the level of effort to customize Eventbrite, it's worth considering a more rigorous enterprise solution.
