Overall Satisfaction with Abila MIP Fund Accounting
MIP is being used by our organization as our financial software.
- Compiles financial information for monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements.
- Is able to track financial information by fund or program
- Imports financial information from our Electronic Medical Record
- Memorized Transactions - wasn't able to handle the number of duplicates we receive monthly. We have over 50 residential sites where we receive 50 telephone bills, 50 electric bills, 50 gas bills, etc.... The system hung when we tried to input this information.
- Tracking the distribution table used to expense a particular item. Once you enter the transaction and select the distribution to use, there's no way to determine which one you used unless you manually calculate the numbers.
- Entering budget information is difficult and repetitive. There should be an easier way to get the budgets for our 40+ programs into the system.
- We transitioned due to implementing an Electronic Medical Record which didn't have a financial package. MIP does what we need it to do.
Yes, we are able to track revenue and expenses in different programs. Works well here.
We looked at other options, but for the price MIP won out. We're happy with our decision.
