Overall Satisfaction with Adobe PhotoShop
Adobe PhotoShop is our default image editor for editing images, creating graphics, or anything photo-related. We use the software to create digital ads, manage, edit and manipulate images from photographers. We also use Adobe PhotoShop to create graphics for websites, apps, and other digital applications. It's used by every designer and developer in our agency.
- Powerful image editing.
- Good integration with other Adobe tools.
- Relatively easy to use.
- Forced to purchase the suite of apps and go on a monthly subscription.
- Can feel bloated and slow at times.
- Sometimes too many options.
- UI can be cluttered.
- Integration with other Adobe products.
- Strong photo editing capabilities.
- Cutting edge features that can fix or edit images easier that before.
- Streamlines our workflow.
- Subscriptions can be expensive.
- Common tool shared across all our employees.
The only real competitor to Adobe PhotoShop is either GIMP or Affinity Photo if you're a Mac user. Affinity Photo is a great product that gives Adobe PhotoShop a run for its money. Adobe PhotoShop is still the king and has the greatest feature set. It's easy to use and provides all the capabilities anyone would need. GIMP is clearly open source and sometimes difficult to use. Affinity Photo would be the app we use if we didn't use Adobe PhotoShop.
