Overall Satisfaction with AlphaSense

AlphaSense helps me to efficiently search for information on companies and their products for my strategy consulting business. I was looking for a reliable revenue estimate of a private company so I could make a punchy company profile slide for my client. Upon, searching AlphaSense, I not only got crunchbase/owler estimates, I was able to find Moddy's investor rating on the company's outlook. This was through AlphaSense's LexisNexis content. This gave me accurate revenue numbers which was invaluable to complete the profile and build a model.

  • It provides a summary with keywords in search highlighted within the document, so you don't have to go through the whole document.
  • It has an image search that helps you discover hidden insights within charts/tables/images without having to read through multiple pages of documents.
  • There are smart summaries for public companies on earnings transcripts.
  • It provides personalized recommended reads based on your preferences, activity, and current trends.
  • It could expand company Smart Summaries to large, private companies.
  • It could include scientific publication sources, such as PubMed, in the content library.
  • Crucial time saver for secondary market research

AlphaSense's platform integrates several content sources in a very easy search and results are displayed in a way that saves a lot of time. Comparatively, using other platforms such as Refinitiv, searching and going through search results is extremely cumbersome and time-consuming. The ease of use of AlphaSense along with speed and NLP abilities makes it a head and shoulders above all competition.
AlphaSense's Company Smart Summaries and Recommended Reads are invaluable to quickly understand pertinent content and stay up to date on the latest market beats/trends.
AlphaSense is highly superior when it comes to Refinitiv in terms of ease of use, integration with multiple data sources, smart search result keyword highlights, and AI company summaries.

AlphaSense is fantastic for reliable secondary market research, expert opinions, and competitive intelligence. Although an expert opinion tool called Stream is part of the content library, it is an additional cost. It is a bit difficult to primarily rely on AlphaSense to identify/verify new and upcoming trends in a market segment, linking the expert opinion with some recent advances being highlighted in conferences and trademark journals would be a useful way.

Evaluating AlphaSense and Competitors

Yes - Refinitiv. Refinitiv was hard to use, expensive, and does not offer flexible pricing options for startups.

The ease of use of the platform makes it stand out against competitors. With so many useful features and tools, AlphaSense is unparalleled.
I would use trustradius and pick products from smaller companies that cater to small companies like mine.

AlphaSense Support

Customer support is very prompt. I get personalized support for search recommendations and content that I could not find in my own search. Support checks in with me on a bi-monthly basis to keep me informed of the many different feature additions, I cannot find a more kind, understanding, and supportive team.

I was looking for information on a private company and was coming up with few search results. AlphaSense went above and beyond to help me come up with a better set of search terms and also gave me a couple of KOL/Expert call transcripts that were very pertinent for free.

AlphaSense Reliability

The company's generative AI models enable users to effectively and reliably search for and find those needles in a haystack. AlphaSense’s sentiment analysis and summarization capabilities help customers quickly and easily digest dense research reports, company filings, and earnings transcripts.
I have not had any issues with the product.
No issues, sometimes loading takes a bit more time when search terms are complex.
