Overall Satisfaction with Apricot by Social Solutions

Our scope is vast as we provide roughly 30 different services including workforce education, youth literacy, tax filing assistance, immigration legal help, and much more.
  • Ease of use on the front end
  • User-friendly on the back end in terms of building service forms and reports
  • The scheduler is unusable for us due to the requirement of a client email.
  • The backend is not always intuitive when it comes to setting up referrals, permissions, etc.
  • Apricot has made it easy for us to network our data gathering across our four rural offices.
  • Apricot is relatively low-cost and scalable as an organization grows.
Apricot has helped us scale our services in that we are able to easily track services across our four offices to ensure equity and to track impact. During the pandemic, we were able to provide $4 million in cash assistance for the first time to thousands of workers.
Being able to track our impact in terms of services, people, dollar impact, etc. helps us tell our story and demonstrate competence and accountability. Funders appreciate knowing we're organized and have the stability and infrastructure to deliver.

For smaller nonprofits, especially, Apricot is designed in a way that most people can manage without tech expertise. It's nice to have control over our database rather than outsourcing everything and being dependent on others outside the organization.
