Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Education Management Solutions
It is used school-wide as our SIS and SLS. We also use the Enrollment portal.
- Attendance portal - ease of taking attendance by teachers and editing/inputting by the attendance office
- Courses set up is intuitive thanks to a great tab set up
- Directories - availability to use filters
- Sky lists - love these!
- Forms - lack of conditional questions
- Gradebook -lack of links to assignments
- Not being able to customize displays, for example, Grading tab - we just finished 1st semester and teachers could only see the current quarter but not the 1st one which is still part of the first semester. Lack of customization in assessments.
- Scheduling- even though re-running generating schedules, we're still getting a high number of unscheduled students. Lack of being able to limit the number of scheduled classes in a row for teachers.
- Integration between SLS and SIS is definitely a time saver for teachers.
- Integration with the 3rd party for conferences is working great for us. A lot of mistakes are avoided with parents not being able to schedule the wrong teachers.
- Attendance and conduct visibility is a great feature.
