Overall Satisfaction with Bloomfire

We use Bloomfire as a way to bridge our Sales and Marketing teams. Marketing makes a ton of "stuff" but our salespeople felt overwhelmed, not supported which was the intent. We use Bloomfire as a way to organize and tag all marketing collateral so our reps can find what they need quickly. They also can ask questions directly to the person who posted it so there is no need to wonder who to follow up with.
  • Organizes a lot of marketing materials in an effective way.
  • Works with our SSO so no need to remember another log in.
  • Their post sales support is unparalleled. In fact, I find myself friends with my account manager because he reaches out so much.
  • Highest level administrators may struggle with the limit formatting functionality.
  • A few items can only be edited using HTML.
  • It could use some more gatekeeper type functionality to aid in curation.
  • Increased productivity because reps have what they need when they need it.
  • Less situations where old material is being shared.

Do you think Bloomfire delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Bloomfire's feature set?

Yes

Did Bloomfire live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Bloomfire go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Bloomfire again?

Yes

Bloomfire works best if there is a designated gatekeeper/curator. It is powerful software but without human curation, it can get muddied and loose its power. We had to do a relaunch about year in because too many posts were created and not tagged correctly. Now, that we have a designated person to review posts (takes about 30-60 min/week) we are much better off.
