Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use BlueJeans to connect with clients in Europe and all over the world for video conference meetings ranging from planning meetings and regular project check-ins to creative presentations and working sessions.

Pros and Cons

Easy for everyone to connect, no matter where they are.
Screen share works particularly well, with little set up required (ie. no "I'm not a presenter, so I can't share...").
Call clarity is reliably good.

Ability to invite someone by email to an ongoing call.

Return on Investment

We started our business while living in Europe, and have returned to Canada, while keeping business relationships alive. BlueJeans helps us to maintain face time with clients so relationships remain strong and personal.
Meetings are more productive and clear on which versions we are working from.
Definitely saving on costs to travel back and forth across the Atlantic. Now we go over a couple of times a year, usually around events.

Alternatives Considered

Skype for Business (formerly Lync), GoToMeeting and Cisco WebEx Teams (formerly Cisco Spark)

BlueJeans is easier to use, and has consistently better call quality.

Usability

Joining a meeting is simple. We did have an issue where we had back-to-back calls, additional client joined meeting early and it wasn't their meeting. Solving that issue took a bit of digging, but we solved it eventually.

Likelihood to Recommend

It works better for networked meetings than any other platform we've used, even when we are connecting users across North America with other users in Europe.
